i wont give names , but in my tristana game , there was a teammate who was INSANELY TOXIC , calling me trash all game , constanlty . this warlord harrased me ALL GAME . theres being toxic , and then theres this guy. this guy didnt just tell me im trash, he made me feel like garbage . ik some ppl have bad games, but we werent losing . LIKE DAM . i mean i reported this guy but wow . i wish i could tell you who this guy is, as a warning ..... anyways i reported him , but its not like reporting players do anything XD

I recommend muting people like that. If they don't want to use chat in a useful way, you don't need to listen to it. Pings are sufficient for the vast majority of in-game communication.

Reports have impact.

If you wish to attempt to get that player out of the community you could try submitting a ticket to Riot Support asking for them to bump that player onto the list of players to receive a manual review. They won't tell you if they do it, and they might or might not. But it's worth a try.

I've done it a few times, they usually email me saying something like, "Thanks for the heads up, we can't tell you what happens with this but we appreciate what you did and we're sorry you had to go through that experience."
