I feel like its to easy to trick the other players into reporting some one by playing the "Hurt Kid" Card There needs to be a way to show the enemy team the chat. Its a need not a want.

Also, Machines can't do this shit its just not right. it doesn't get the idea. You say one thing because you even made a typo, boom banned. Not that i have been banned. i haven't gotten a warning in the past week. My friend got a warning for saying "Winner winner chicken dinner" after he got a penta-kil in all chat and to me that makes me sick to think I'm addicted to game where you can have your account taken away because of that.

You don't need to show anyone a chat. Asking for reports is bannable. If you see something worth reporting, do it yourself and don't say anything about it. Also, gloating needs to be kept to a minimum and talking in a manner that makes a negative experience for any player in the game deserves a ban per RIOT TOS. Go re-read the Summoners Code instead of bitching when you broke the rules.

He, nor his friend, broke the rules. You defending the type of community LoL is becoming is much, much worse than what OP is pointing out.

Explain? The way I'm reading it, OP says we should be able to show teamchat to the enemy team, which is in itself a terrible idea, to prove whether or not someone is being toxic. My point is that would be a: against the summoners code and b: stupid. And i'm not defending the community. I'm defending RIOTs policies. I don't want to play with people who can't follow simple, commonsense rules like 'don't be a jerk' and IDGAF if someone 'taunted' them into that. Players are responsible for not responding to toxic jerks by making a game MORE toxic.

This is the point I was talking about. Not the rest. Saying "winner winner chicken dinner" is not really being a jerk or anything. Its extremely minor gloating for a penta. Most players gloat when they get a penta. It happens.

No, people should not be jerks, assholes, or whatever else people don't want to deal with. But encouraging sensitivity is not good either. Overly sensitive players often turn into problems as well, as they're very reactive to any goading.

That sort of comment, while mild, is still potentially negative, especially if there were other negative things in the chatlog. People don't come here and give the whole story. Why do you think RIOTers come and summoner 11 them? This kid wouldn't be whining if he, or is friend, didn't get punished. Until they post the whole reform card, I'm not taking them as anything other than the usual toxic "I didn't do anything" brats.

Basically the way i see it, OP wants to be able to show chat to enemies so they would report someone for it. Which makes no sense as his report is enough.

Decided to ctrl-F "Report" on the summoner's code. Fun fact, it doesn't mention asking for reports as being wrong and/or bannable, In fact, it doesn't mention the word report at all.

Summoner's Code is all about creating a positive atmosphere so yes whining and saying "OMG report this f'ing feeder" is really not good and/or reportable, but I see nothing wrong with at the end saying "Our mid was really harassing us, mind putting in a report?" and leaving it at that if you feel it's necessary, especially for the extra toxic players. Honestly, people that whine about asking for reports nicely and want them to be bannable are almost worse than the people that report for saying GG at the end of a 4v5.

That being said, I don't see a need to show chat to everyone from the game just to garner reports. From behaviour in game, all chat, and post game talk, a good idea about whether a report is needed or not can be formed and the enemy team doesn't need any more than that. If they choose to act on requests or just because they believe the behaviour is toxic they report, that's their choice, but you mainly need to just handle reporting yourself and leave it at that.

It has been established multiple times that asking for reports in considered harrassment. Only a few days ago, RIOT Tantram upheld this: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/jmF6VEou-riot-tantram-is-asking-if-the-enemy-is-also-going-to-report-reportable Since 1 report is the same as 9, there is never any reason to be asking for reports. This has been confirmed by Lyte and other rioters, as well as Tantram. Lyte has been quoted as saying that toxic players use the word 'report' more than anyone else.

As I said, it's silly. I think Riot has gone too far on that one. It is not nearly as bannable as others and should be considered for punishment about as much as "unskilled" and "refusing to communicate" unless it is said in a harassing way i.e. see above examples
