So my friends told me to try out league I normally brush these things off. but I didn't had much to do, so i tried it out got to level 10, and I've honestly given up hope for this community. This game is completely festering with trolls/toxic players making me wish that I never bothered with this game at all. Riot Game(s) should really consider upping their bans to system wide and IP both at the same time like blizzard does, you troll in league you're entire computer and IP gets ban. this will clear off the obvious grieving smurfs and toxic players

Blizzard doesnt give IP bans for the same reason everyone else doesnt..

Because if you IP someone playing at a dorm EVERYONE at the dorm gets banned.

Also smurfing isnt illegal.

I don't think that he was saying smurfing is against summoner code, but rather smurfs that use their smurfs to ruin the game by griefing the other players.

Smurfs aren't illegal but I had a plat 4 smurf who decided to troll my match because i took 4 cs by accident so he decided to run into the jungle causing me to handle a losing lane :/ then adding me on his main just to spite me. I think people like these need that special ban . the ban from living.

One thing you have to keep in mind:

The lower levels of plays are indeed filled with "smurfs". However these people typically have their accounts punished and started a new account, cos they can't get off their LOL addiction. Of course they have reformed, so they bring their toxicity along with them, so low level games is a toxicity fest.

Sucks you had to go through that, but the only news I got for you right now is that it gets better when you get to like .. lvl 25, cos all those toxics would probably be banned again already.

I've seen people lose their shit over the loss of 4 cs even when they are not smurfs so I'm not sure smurf has too much influence over that.

Unlike in-game chat where you have to see it the first time, you don't have to add that person to your friend list.

I wouldn't let your path to level 10 deter you too much from playing the game, as around 50-70% of the players at that low level are smurfs. The higher level you get in the game, the less you start to encounter these toxic smurfs.

Not saying of course, that you won't see any toxic smurfs. I am simply saying that the frequency of these players diminishes the higher you get.

As for toxic players, there is honestly no way around this issue as far as I can see, anyone can be set off by anything they experience. I have seen players completely tilt off of someone cheering them on.

You also are not going to escape toxic players, no matter what multiplayer game you play. The only true escape is in singleplayer games, but even then you have yourself to worry about.

I tried playing again and all honestly, it's still the same. I don't feel "fun" playing it. It's not fun in general

doesn't make sense, every game community has trolls and toxic players get over yourself and buy stuff from riot. That's all they want although if they ban accounts they should refund them the money they spent on it.

Blizzard doesn't issue IP bans... doing so is pointless with the dynamic IP systems and causing accidental players to be banned for sharing similar connections (e.g. college campuses).

The early stages of creating an account and leveling is absolutely awful -- that much I agree with you on, but your suggestion is not possible to implement.

Then they're just gonna continue losing players, I tried it out today and all honestly this is by far the worst game I've ever played. I uninstalled it and i'm done with this crap, Too many damn banned/smurfs ruining new players experience.

Again -- I am not arguing with you whatsoever (and it does seem like the Riot population has gone down it's still over 30 million different accounts on a daily basis). I agree that the early game leveling until you get to basically is 30 is awful and they've tried to address that by cutting the time it takes to do it in half as well as offering more friendly modes to do it in.

The question still remains -- what fix would you implement. The one thing you suggested doesn't work (and the example you provided with Blizzard was not factual). It's all nice and dandy to point out a problem, but it's another matter to provide a fix.

That's false. if my play through of level 10 to 12 was anything to say I say I had everymatch atleast 2-3 smurfs/banned players. So let's say atleast 30 million could be actually 22-19 million depending on the hour.

What is false? The fact that I said "30 million different accounts?" I absolutely recognize that certain players could play on two different or more accounts in the same day. Unfortunately we do not have access to that stat.
