Why is Trash Talking bannable?

Honestly In every video game community you will try out, there will be toxicity. I just think its a part of the internet. Yet this game is banning people for having some fun trash talking others even though they poor hundreds of dollars and hours into your awesome game. I got banned for 14 days just because I said something to a Vayne that kept going afk and was being rude. She reported me and got me banned for 14 days, I DIDNT EVEN REPORT HER. I seriously don't get it.

This is what is know as "Wasted time/money" You made the mistake of breaking the rules that YOU agreed to when you made your account. In every community there are also thieves and murderers, but that doesnt mean its ok. League, at least , is doing something to fight toxicity. Be thankful.

Real talk. My age and ltitle older really started the multi-player age. The thing is, we started it in our living room and on our couches surrounded by friends, calling them all manner of things.

Now add in a culture where shock and awe were made cool by South Park.

Now the people who made that culture are getting tired of it as we get older(I still watch south Park, but people often mistakenly think they are as funny). Also, we are trying to open the culture outward and accept our female and gay gamer brothers. All that adds up to maybe we need to clean up our act a little instead of all acting like being a shit is the best method for dealing with things.

The age bracket under me inherited the environment but aren't at the maturity level to embrace self-restraint. Hell, it took me until 26. Hopefully the generation after wonto be shit bags to each other for fun and Internet rep.

there is a fine live between fun trash talking and toxicity.

Riot allows fun trash talking to a certain degree, but when you step over the line into toxicity, that isn't allowed.

So, logs or it didn't happen.

I don't understand this logic. And getting reported in 1 game won't get you a 14 day ban unless you said something particularly bad.

Hint, you didn't get banned for 14 days because of that Vayne's report alone, and taking in account your thread's title, I can figure how much you have been reported.

trash talk is bannable because it becomes unclear where to draw the line. How would they judge what is considered toxic. Personally i dont mind a little trash talk (within reason) but not all ppl do. Some ppl just get offended by everything these days. From Riots standpiont they are trying to crack down on as much of the toxicity as possible and frequently tash talk will end up with someone feeling offended. The question is, is it better to judge the feelings of many over the needs of a few(or a lot) to trash talk their opponnets?

If you want to trash talk, use the classless taunts riot provides by clicking control1 or control2. Don't go out of classless box Riot has designed for you and attempt to grow a classless brain of your own. Just don't do it.
