"My team sucks" is a flat out lie

I am beyond sick of seeing pointless flames and/or accusations of inting every other game. If you're a chronic flamer, it's 99% of the time because you think you're better than the player that you're flaming. Well, guess what. There's this thing in the game called MMR, which puts you in games with players at right around your own skill level. You think you're better? The game disagrees. And guess what else. The game is right, and you are WRONG. The one and only correct determination of skill is winrate. "I can 1v1 them ten out of ten times." Doesn't matter, you're still as bad as them. "I'm 10/0 and they're 2/15." Doesn't matter, you're at the same skill level regardless. If you think they're way worse than you, the only thing that proves is that you have failed to understand the basics of the game you're playing. If they're worse than you in every aspect of the game that you know of, then you can't even identify the aspects of the game that they're better than you in, which means you've got no business talking smack. There's only three types of players in this game. Players who are just having fun, players who are improving their own skill, and players who are playing for no reason at all and would probably improve their own and everyone else's lives by quitting league and maybe even all multiplayer video games entirely. If you're flaming, you're not having fun. If you blame teammates for every loss, you're not improving. Chronic flamers land solidly in category three. Why even play if you're just gonna rage and flame? I bet you don't even know, or maybe you haven't even realized that this game isn't fun for you because you have 'feeders' every single game. Do yourself a favor and quit, like you keep telling your 'bad' teammates to. You won't regret it.

"Unless you own up to your own shortcomings, you should keep your damn mouth shut, boy."

Basically just another way of saying if you live in a house made of glass, you probably shouldn't be hurling stones.

that's mostly true and can sometimes not be. mmr is skill but also time spent playing, you can climb through sheer play hours. my normal mmr is higher than my ranked because I play it more and riot sticks me with the odd plat or diamond even though I know I'm nowhere near that skill level at least I'm nearer than my rankedmates. but yknow I don't care and just play.
