I'm sure everyone in the community knows friends who has been toxic and inappropriate in their league games. Some of you may even know friends who have gotten banned for a week, 2 weeks or even permanently banned. Some of these players don't realize the harshness of the punishment riot can bring to your account.

Well, I happen to be that person. I was permanently banned for saying a bunch of stupid things that meant nothing to me at the time. I truly feel bad for the people that had to go through my behavior. I severely regret the hundreds of dollars I spent on the game only for it to go to waste. That's why I'm here to make a statement and tell anyone that exhibits toxic behavior to stop now, it will only get worse.

I feel like many people that have been permanently banned, didn't know the true punishment to behaving in such a way. I also feel that many perma-banned players have been reformed, myself included and want to continue playing League of Legends with their group of friends. I believe that Riot should unlock all permanently banned accounts starting fresh this new season. This will allow everyone to get a chance to reform and prove themselves on the Summoner's Rift.

Please consider unlocking permanently banned accounts this upcoming season. I'm sure the community will come together again.

I doubt that Riot will. They already have tried at one point to give perma banned players that one extra shot. It was called the level 20 challenge. If the perma-banned player could reach level 20 without displaying poor behavior they would get their account back.

The results were abysmal. Not worth the effort of Riot and the suffering the other players had to endure.

So no. You had your chance to turn your behavior around, as did everyone else that had been perma banned.

Make a new account and start fresh if you want to play league. Behave on the new account.

First of all, congratulation on realizing that your past behaviors have no place in this game and trying to reform. We need more people like you!

However, I fail to see why Rito should consider unlocking permanently banned accounts this upcoming season (not sure if you mean this season which already started or next year). While you are have see the errors of your way and reformed, many do not. Unbanning most/all perma-banned account cheapen the punishment. When will it stops? If Rito unban tham all this season, why don't they do it next season or the season after that? Why start now? If people know their perma-banned accounts will be unban at the start of every new season, then they have no fear of being "perma"-banned and will be toxic at a whim.

You may be biased for Rito to give everyone a chance THIS season because you recent got perma-banned. What about next year? Some other people also reformed and want Rito to give everyone a chance too? When does it stop? Again, if Rito does this every season, then the punishment carries no weigh behind it.

Well thank you for apologizing. I'm glad you understand what you did wrong and why you were banned.

Unfortunately, as others have pointed out permanent bans are...permanent.

Unfortunately, Riot has tried experiments like this. Even among hand-selected players who showed specific interest in reforming, the failure rate was something like 90-95%. As such, I believe Riot has stated that they will not be reversing any permanent account bans, and have no plans to change that policy.

With the 14 day Ban comes a message that says any further toxic behaviour will get you a permaban. If you don't Take that Last Chance it's on you. Doubt they will ever unban permas. They have No reason to do so.
