What i think about trolls/bad behavior

    • To be honest, i do not care if trolls are banned. I have not come across enough trolls in my games to worry about them or let them get the best of me, my main concern is dodging. I have come to the rational conclusion that dodging is an effective way to avoid a guaranteed loss, we have all had those champ select moments where you can just tell this team is not going to work together or just not obey the not set in stone "rules of champ select" such as pick order. SO because of this i tend to find myself dodging at least once every three days, which is fine, but when we get to that second or third time it becomes hell. I become brutally punished for players being ignorant and not working to achieve a victory. I know this may not be a dire issue but like i said i do not care if trolls are banned all i want to ensure my accounts well being and that becomes harder every single day with this dense community of players. So i am just asking that punishment for players not wanting to succumb themselves to the "trolls" be punished not as harshly. I realize this can bring up greater issues as to constant dodging but it doesn't hurt to experiment for a week or so.

Pick Order is officially supported by Riot. It's just hard to catch because people dodge, don't report it, and people give the autolockers what they want so they don't troll.

The new champ select should help with that a lot. "Team Builder Draft" will have people pick 2 roles and their role will be decided when a group is found. Changing what role you're in without the consent of others will be reportable (as usual) but the system will now easily catch it by knowing what lane they were given and where they went instead.

Lyte also mentioned that if that scenario is a common problem, they will consider adding report options in champ select. http://ask.fm/RiotLyte/answer/134187487682

^ I agree that the new Role Selection system will be great, if it was in game prior to me playing League and doing bad for those games I did awful in if I wasn't forced into a role with players who would not play defense when I said play defense and I feed bad because they didn't listen, then I wouldn't be permanently suspended right now.

However the Role Selection does help, and will make sure that I could play a hell of a lot better, it still leaves open the following.

1.) Players can still be toxic and troll, Riot can do manual Audits, and add a report function this can help take care of this problem.

2.) The second problem still is bot lane players and auto locking plus players who are stubborn and don't listen for example this is a reason I feed, or do bad a lot of times players don't listen when "Play defensively" is called even at champion selection because I know the ADC sucks, but I don't be toxic I just say play defense, and then they choose to run out and auto attack all the creeps shoving lane very far. (This type of behavior just isn't something I can do good with, and a reason I hope that Riot will allow players to Duo Queue for ADC/Support together.) Because while I can't play with random players often without doing bad a lot of the time its possible for me to Queue up with a friend who thinks and plays alike and do well.

3.) The problem is while this does eliminate quite a bit of toxicity, it still doesn't fully fix things that people will get mad and rage over like.

(OFF Meta Stuff)

. Teemo Bot . Lee-Sin Bot . Annie Top . Vayne Top

4.) Team Compositions work with at least 2 players for the basic combo, but in order to do the higher end stuff you end the entire team working together at champion selection and to know what everyone else is doing, I am hoping that this new Role System will encourage more team-play, but this is still one of the problems that won't be resolved by the new system, for example you could get limited Team Combo's but if two other players do not want to do something and choose not to lock a specific champion or auto lock it doesn't help anyone either.

Still I like the fact Riot is going in the right direction here.
