For Germans or any other races

hi everyone actually ive discovered something about people from Germany or any other.Especially girls adding guys after games are really racist like for example one of them added me today after a game we won on my smurf we started talking and then came where are you from she said im from Germany and you i replied i live on an island and im half french half australian. Then she said GG then deletd me shes not the only one though like let me tell you something you cant judge me based on my half french side its like i dont even speak french that much and i dont look french i have a sun tan which makes me a very different looking guy compared to them and im also very friendly so whats the problem being half of french race which is only like 25% in my genes lmao.Please stop the act of racism its not cool.

Hey Mackelroy, I think the best place for your post would be over on the EUW boards here rather than on NA, because we might not feel the same or see the same things quite the same way as you guys do over there. Racism is definitely not something to be taken lightly, but I would recommend avoiding making generalizations about Germans, as it can look like you're being racist right back to them even if it isn't your intention!

Thank you for reminding him about that, Deep Terror Nami. I am a German guy myself and had some painful experiences in that regard.

Because of Germany's history, there is a stigma some of us have to live with... In my free time, I love to talk to people from all over the world by social media and I met my lovely girlfriend that way, too. Unfortunately, there are some people who automatically assume that you are racist if you are from Germany. It is sad if something like nationality prevents you from learning something.

Other people are a wonderful way to learn about our earth, many kind people taught me that. Most importantly, my girlfriend too.

We got the EU which is supposed to be a trade union. Something's going wrong and some idiotic groups (including politicians like Merkel) want the United States of Europe.

It has nothing to do with racism. A common joke (not only in german) is talking about surrendering frenchies. People from poland steal everything not nailed to the ground. Those are mostly jokes, nobody should take those things seriously.

Sorry to tell you this, but anthropology exists and it can clearly distinguish between races on a physical level. The fact that people are physcially different, however, doesn't mean they should be treated differently.

I think the point he's making is that races are not clearly defined in science. Every single race there is, in humans, dogs or other species, is arbitrarily defined. Determining the differences is obviously done in a scientific fashion, but the categorization of certain traits has no "properly" scientific basis, which means it actually very likely is the result of human bias, and it certainly is not a biological fact.

At its core, I agree it's mostly a semantic argument, as the differences in genetics are a fact. But specifically the term "race" is too loosely defined to be considered a fact in my opinion. As an example, consider the statement "The Eiffel Tower is big". That's not wrong. But is it really a fact, when the term "big" could mean literally anything, depending on the exact context I use it in?

The genetic differences are definetly not the only thing, there is outward appearance of course, then there's bone structure, which in most animals could have them classified as different sub-species, HOWEVER in the classification of humans the term "sub-species" would have far too much of a stigma attached to it, therefore "race" is used instead as it implies a much smaller physiological difference. In animals "race" is used as more of an explaination of difference in coloration, rather than body structure.

Anthropology is cultural and social science, not biology. Biologically races does not have definitions you tell. I stated to you they are not biological facts. The main reason is the one you stated: race is defined by outward appearance and then makes false assumption mental characteristics are defined by outward appearance. If you take white child and put him into environment of "black race", he will be statistically different from black people unless he is bullied due his different appearance.

Thus human races are not facts but fiction to maintain natural human xenophobia and false sense of superiority of their own group. Anthropology is study of human cultures not human biology.
