Chat Restrictions = Permanently banned from getting hextech gifts?

This is absolutely and utterly stupid, players are permanently punished for getting chat restricted now? Maybe this would be okay if getting chat restricted wasn't next to random, my friend can never get loot now because he said "I main riven" and got chat restricted, meanwhile there are people telling others that they are worthless and should die (which in my opinion is still not as bad as afks and trolls who are the people who should really be getting punished not people who just say stupid stuff that you can mute at any time). Good job riot, your system continues to fail us time and time again.

I agree, they need to fix the punishment system revolving hex-tech loot.

The restriction from hextech loot is not permanent. It does get lifted, but how long someone has it is determined by that players behavior and how quickly they show that they have reformed. They need to continuously play games with positive, or at the very least neutral, behavior, and in time that restriction will be lifted.

if its a 10 game chat restrict, you need 30-40 games to regain loot.

If you were validly reported, then you'd have to paly more games.

If it was a harsher punishment than 10 game chat restrict, then you have to play more games.
