How people can be so... not smart? (Is that okay to say riot?) Just had 3 people afk. 2 for 8+ minutes and the 3rd for roughly 4 while an enemy team with an already better teamfight 5v5 is pushing down mid. Garen split pushes for SOME reason and in post-game chat Lux returns to nag me for not trying to defend after nexus towers went down. Apparently it's my job to 1v5 as tristana in the blind hope that my allies come back and we turn things around...? [slayer-jinx-unamused]

there is your answer. if the enemy has a better teamfight, then him being there wouldnt have accomplished anything. theyd still win the 5v5. the best strategy in that situation is to try to pull the enemy team apart.

because a 4v4, or even better a 4v3 or 4v2 because some of the enemy team has to react to stop his splitpush, might be more in your favour.

all your team has to do in that situation is stall the enemy team and avoid getting engaged on, and waveclear until he forces someone on the enemy team to recall.

instead of complaining that the was split pushing, why didnt you try to work around his splitpush?

Because 3 people literally disconnected. I was the ONLY ONE IN THE GAME defending mid lane as the only other non-disconnected player wanted to split push a lane that had already lost its 1st and 2nd towers. Please read before you comment.

if 3 people disconnected for that long and you were defending mid lane, then you were wasting everyones time to the point where id say you were griefing the rest of the players who were left in that game by holding them hostage.

winning a game with 4 people vs. 5 is already an extremely unlikely and rare event that only happens in low divisions. i havent seen this ever happen or heared of it above plat. winning with 2 or more people down is entirely impossible.

youd need someone like anivia to even have a chance to stall out the game. the garen probably saw that it was pointless and didnt want to drag out a 5v2 for no reason.

should you ever get into a game like that again, just open mid next time and ignore the comments of people like the lux.

Well if you read the initial post of mine I said
