How people can be so... not smart? (Is that okay to say riot?) Just had 3 people afk. 2 for 8+ minutes and the 3rd for roughly 4 while an enemy team with an already better teamfight 5v5 is pushing down mid. Garen split pushes for SOME reason and in post-game chat Lux returns to nag me for not trying to defend after nexus towers went down. Apparently it's my job to 1v5 as tristana in the blind hope that my allies come back and we turn things around...? [slayer-jinx-unamused]

there is your answer. if the enemy has a better teamfight, then him being there wouldnt have accomplished anything. theyd still win the 5v5. the best strategy in that situation is to try to pull the enemy team apart.

because a 4v4, or even better a 4v3 or 4v2 because some of the enemy team has to react to stop his splitpush, might be more in your favour.

all your team has to do in that situation is stall the enemy team and avoid getting engaged on, and waveclear until he forces someone on the enemy team to recall.

instead of complaining that the was split pushing, why didnt you try to work around his splitpush?
