"KYS" doesn't get you banned apparently

I have been playing league of legends non-stop for the past week and a half and,that has come to a hard stop after countless people in game tell me to "KYS" (kill yourself) .Only if a gank doesn't go their way or if i die a little too much. It's completely uncalled for and, riot needs to set there foots down on this kind of behavior suicide is a real thing. I reported all the people who tole me to kill myself and riot has done nothing of the sort to even ban them from chat. Riot please fix this or your community will not be able to come back from this and lives might be lost

I got banned 2 weeks for simply saying kys... so you're completely wrong on that lol

There's literally two threads right next to yours that are complaining that they got banned instantly for saying 'kys'

You only get a notification that someone was punished if YOUR report is what actually triggers it. You otherwise have no idea if they get punished or not. IE, there is nothing to fix, it is just your naivety. People will get punished (I mean, all you have to do is read a few threads on these boards and see people are getting banned left and right for saying this stuff).

That simply isn't true. You can look on the forums, and there's plenty of posts with kys in the chat logs and subsequently triggering a 2 week suspension.

I have countless SS of players saying KYS during/after matches and i'll follow them on op.gg to see if there is any gap in their match histories (to see if they got at least a 14 day ban). After following 22 players... 22 out of 22 were still playing. I did this test since March 2017. I see players on this forum QQ about getting perma banned so I know the system is sorta working. My conclusion is that players in the forum are pretty damn unlucky lol.
