Account perma banned > No email sent to tell me why

When I try to log in it tells me that I have been perma banned and that I should check my email for why, but the only email I have from riot is confirmation for the purchase of RP on the account. The only other action ever taken on this account was a 10 game chat restriction, this feels out of the blue and the only reason I can guess as to why I was banned is because I recently switched back from playing top to mid (which I have been playing for 5 years) and my performance is much better, maybe you guys think I was being elo boosted? Also, I played for a night at a friend's house that lives less than 30 minutes away, IDK if the temporary change of IP triggered some sort of suspicious behavior.

It's entirely possible that a security lock has been placed on your account. They do this for a number of reasons (often to protect your account). There's nothing we can really do for you here when this is the case. Your best bet will be submitting a ticket to Riot Support. Generally speaking, Riot will ask you questions to verify that you're the legitimate owner of the account.

Final Spark Lux may be correct in that you got a shield ban to protect your account because Riot may have thought you had a hacker get your information and so Riot said "shit shit shit, we gotta protect the real owner. Shut off access until the real owner can get the account back so the real owner doesn't get shafted by this hacker"

Also possible you like to play a lot of off-meta picks and so the mob decides to report you for being average-toxic. Or your version of toxic might be tinged with your culture (maybe you type with idiosyncratic diction that makes it apparent that you're African-american, for example) and since most players are racist, they report you more often and the automated system upholds the punishment because every single player who plays this game says something toxic. TLDR: Be popular, don't get reported. Follow the meta. Don't stand out. Fall in line. Don't think for yourself. Don't defend unpopular viewpoints. Succumb to the man.
