Permanant mute?

Hey so I was wondering if there is a way that I can be permanently muted, I get real pissed off sometimes and would prefer the options to not say anything but people tend to push you. and piss you off more. what I would prefer is 1: allow an option to where I can only see and communicate with people on my friends list, even in game FROM the start of the game. if they played well I can add them and communicate with them in the future but I would prefer to not see anything anyone types. ever. thanks.

Just mute all in chat and unmute your friend. Simple.

Riot has said they will not implement a permanent mute/chat restrict system again because when they did try it, it made game behavior worse. So rather than reducing toxicity, they just expressed it through game play. It had the absolute opposite effect they wanted. Permanent mutes just transformed chat behavior into in game behavior which requires more time and effort to handle because it's not as easy as scanning chat logs. You have to sit and watch replays. It's detrimental for both players and Riot player behavior specialists who have to review the games.

Since the test of permanent mutes went SO poorly, they vowed to never implement it again.

well both of you are little blind to the real problem here. you just cant let 12 year olds push you around. member you fucked girls the same age as their moms. could be their moms for all we know. they could be your kids that you don't know you had. and that kid is really struggling in life because he has no father figure so he takes his frustration out on league. just deal with it bro. like laugh it off
