Account banned

I received an email from Riot saying that "Actions that have been performed on your account are in violation of the League of Legends Terms of Use." ... "Due to the severity of this violation, your League of Legends account has been banned until Mon Feb 22 22:22:22 UTC 2100". I haven't played or logged in since 01-19-2016. But I guess my account had been compromised after that, because in my match history, there are about 12 games that took place in the last month. All the same champion and all with some pretty decent game scores (better than I normally get). I submitted a ticket 3 days ago, but have yet to receive a response.

So, I am wondering, what could they have done that would warrant an 83 year ban? And, what do you think the chances are of me getting my account back?

Update: Riot finally responded to my ticket, and after I revealed every details of every girl I've ever dated, they have restored my account! I guess it was just compromised. Also, upon logging in, I found that my account was a member of a club dedicated to racism. So, there's that.

Thank for the help and encouragement, community members. And thanks to Dovolski for getting this taken care of quickly (I mean, after the three day wait)

2100 is code for an account compromise. If you've already got a ticket in, just be patient, sometimes it takes awhile to get to yours. Don't bump or make any more, it'll just take longer to help you.

You'll most likely need to provide some proof that you're the original account holder, but if you can do that you should get your account back. Best of luck!

This ban was likely due to a situation where Riot has seen evidence that your account has likely been compromised. To protect your account, they locked it (it is not a permanent ban, per se) until you contact them to get the account back.

If you still have access to the account, change its password immediately, then begin a "compromised account" support ticket. At the same time, immediately change the password to any email you've ever associated with League, and anything that shares the same password you used to have on the account.

Best of luck to you!

If this wasn't a permaban for unsportsmanlike behavior, it could be a ban because someone might have accessed your account and compromised your personal information or your account could have been banned for usage of illicit third-party software (scripts). Either way, you'd be best off submitting a ticket to Riot Support and following up with them.

It's very likely that you'll get it back once the support team replies to your ticket, don't worry ~

I had my account compromised very recently. I was lucky enough to be signed in and on the client when it happened. It notified me someone else had logged into my account from another computer. I changed my password within 5 minutes of that happening and nothing further happened. I hope you get your account back!

Hey, at least it's just an 83 years ban, and not a perma ban...

If you read the terms of use you wouldn't need to ask us.
