Why Are Low ELO Players Toxic? (Just Thoughts)

Not expecting anyone to read, but here goes;

So this just from what I have experienced and seen personally. I know there are many people who have different experiences but this is just mine. So playing from Bronze, climbing up to Silver, and trying to get to Gold, why are so many people toxic when it comes to mistakes?

In the many games i have played, there are smurf accounts who claim to be Gold 5 and above, calling people names and starting problems as soon as a mistake occurs with a player. This also happens within a team when someone makes a simple mistake.

Say a Thresh isn't landing most of their hooks. Most of the players will brush it off and say, "Bad game man, it's cool", while others will begin to flame them, making them perform worse. Why do players do this? Also, some of them begin to act if they are the gods of League, saying, "I'm a Gold 5 in my other accounts, why won't you guys listen to me. You are all brain dead" that actually happened, by the way. I just don't understand why so many people think that flaming other players will make them perform better?

ALSO, when I report these people for their behavior, nothing really happens? I don't know if it is because of so many requests Rito has, but nothing is done. RARELY will i get a notification saying something has been done, but other than that, nothing happens.

These are just my thoughts, i just had to put it on here.

Sorry to say but every ELO has toxic players. There is no escape.

I hate low ELO players man, I don't even talk to them anymore. I tell them you're legit in Bronze you should be spending 100% of your time watching me and learning from it, not talking to me.

Low ELO is below 1200. If you can't make 1200 ELO in this game you are making it worse.

It can vary depending on the Tier and Division.

Division 5 (along with 4 and 1 by proximity) tends to be more toxic than the rest. This is often filled with players boosted to the ranking or people who have yet to demote.

IMO:

  • While Silver had quite a few ragers, my games in that ELO tended to be stomps whenever I applied myself and I have a rather small sample size. The majority of it was the enemy team raging in all-chat.

  • Gold was probably the nicest tier I've been in. Players were generally decent, games leaned towards neutral or positive behaviour-wise and I saw fewer toxic players.

  • Platinum was worse than Silver for toxic players and idiocy. Sadly, many players who have reached this ranking tend to be rather egotistical and refuse to listen to advice or allow themselves to get carried. Instead, they continue trying to carry the game by themselves and feeding the enemy team, standing by their horrible decisions and blaming their teammates

If you reach Gold, be very thankful.

Because they don't understand that them themselves can do better. They constantly look for excuses; I was camped, no gank, no help, etc... Which, yes, those can be valid reasons but why aren't you learning about your mistakes? If you are getting camped, perhaps be more passive. Want a gank? Maybe bait or at least not be pushed. I play with my friend and listen to him yell in voice, and I will tell him to calm down and refocus. I try to help him with getting through Bronze, but I can only play so much with him, ya know? Even in the other elos they don't want to take responsibility.

its because of how the game works. when the enemies get kills they get stronger. making you weaker in comparison. so every time an ally makes a mistake they are making you weaker and causing you to have less fun.
