Well after playing two days ago no problem and yesterday i tried to log in and i get slapped with this acount has been permanent suspended. and when i asked riot support all i get is this copy and paste that all of you who have ever been banned know. so please riot i know overwolf is not cheating and if it\s a program im not alowed to use why did you not ban me more then a month ago. cause at this point i have send about 180 euro on my act in skins and champs. so please riot i beg you to take a look and see if my act really needed a perma ban. and yes sometimes im toxic but i have never got a chat ban or anything before ever.

You JUST made a topic about this and were told to contact support. Stop spamming this board and go do that.

Good luck.

So how do you know it was the Overwolf that got you ban? Seems to me you are making excuses. Riot takes 3rd party band seriously. Hence why they take their time with it and possibly double/triple/quadruple check to make sure. Now the system is not 100% (nothing is). But if they had already check and done all that and still come to the conclusion there is nothing you can do. I hope you realize that Overwolf isn't a new program. It's been out for awhile now and I'm sure it's in their whitelisting of applications that doesn't tamper with the client, just like Razer, Discord, etc. so it doesn't make sense that Overwolf is what got you ban when people have been using it and they aren't getting ban!

Spend another 180 euros on new skins. That's what RIOT really wants :D

Wow I'm glad I removed over wolf in time. I used to use it like 6 months ago but got a little paranoid after the last wave of bans for third party programs. Better safe than sorry.

Hey Guys,

Using Overwolf is completely fine, and is not an illegal program and you can not get banned for using.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to chime in, since someone asked about our thoughts on this. LoLWiz, in it's current incarnation, is no different from visiting OP.GG or LolNexus or any other similar site. The only real difference is that it is displayed via an Overwolf Plugin, rather than a web page. It's powered by the Riot API, and no questionable access the game client, so as of right now we have no issues with using this app and will not frown upon players who do so. That being said, we reserve the right to change our stance on this, if in the future the LoLWiz app adopts any functionality we find to be harmful to player's experience or the game's ecosystem. (Though if that happened we would first attempt reach out to LoLWiz and try to course correct things there, instead of banning players.) Also, naturally, we can never officially condone or promote the use of any third party tool, as we can never guarantee your game stability or safety in doing so. TL;DR - It's not directly affecting the client, as it is a component of Overwolf and not a game-mod, so you won't be banned.

unless it's a program which riot's employees use themselves like championify you are risking using any such program and i guess you are risking using championify too because you are not a riot's employee, quod licet jovi etc
