Riot, fix the way you deal with penalties.

So my friend's account got banned. He's pretty toxic, at times, not gonna lie. But isn't that what the mute function is for? What if, (his scenario and I have been in the same circumstance) you're on a team of 4 premades, you're losing heavily, and your team and the enemies team reaches the point where both teams want to just troll, and not end; when you're just trying to get a good win in for the day? And then you, in the heat of the moment, lose your cool and tell the other players how you feel about what they are doing? Granted you dropped in a few hurtful f's or b's in there. I think the mute function is intended for that, but what about the person who just wants to forfeit? He can't just AFK, or he'd get banned for that also. Riot needs to find an appropriate solution to this problem.

The presence of the 'mute' function deosn't give your friend free agency to be toxic.

The mute button is there so I don't have to deal with his toxicity in my game. The report button and punishments are there so others don't have to deal with his toxicity in their games.

It's possible to get banned for AFK, but you're usually headed to leaverbuster before that happens, and I think most people shape up before getting banned for leaving.
