Refunds for permabanned account when I havent played on it

So I let my brother play on my account to try out new champs and skins since his account is really low level and he doesnt have the blue essence to get more champs and he didnt want to waste any on champs that he won't like. He has severe anger issues and I already got a 14 days ban because of him being toxic and I told him not to do it again. Well he was again today and got my account permabanned. I've spent $880 on my account over the course of 2 and a half years. Lots of the rp was purchased for me by family members and I've spent a good amount myself over these past couple of years. I already contacted support about getting my account unbanned but if it cant be for whatever reason I feel I should get something refunded because it was my brothers toxicity that caused the ban and not me.

That's a really shitty situation, and I'm sorry your brother behaved that way.

This is, however, one of the reasons that Riot doesn't allow account sharing (personal security being another). It is a permanent-ban-worthy offense in its own right, so I can't see Riot overturning this, especially since you knowingly let him use the account after he had already gotten you a ban for his behavior.

Sadly, this one is on you, as you knowingly let a toxic player use your account with the knowledge that he had gotten it punished in the past.

Sharing accounts goes against Terms of Service. Your account is your responsibility, no matter who is actually controlling it at the time.

This is pretty much what Riot is going to tell you, dude. You agree to it with every patch. Sorry, bud.

Account sharing in and off itself is a permabannable offence. I'm sorry, but you won't be getting your account back.

Unfortunately Riot does not help people in your situation. If the account was stolen and Riot can verify that it was being used from a different geographical location, then they sometimes lessen the punishment.

At the same time though, if your brother showed the disrespect towards you by getting a 14-day ban on your account the first time, you probably should have learned your lesson and not let him use your account again.

Personally, in your situation I would take it up with your brother. Hold him accountable for losing you that money, perhaps turn it into a debt for him to pay off, or find some other way of teaching him that what he did was not okay.

If you make another account and if you choose to ever share the account with your brother again, you should look into how to disable chat / unbind your enter key so that he never has the opportunity to get your account punished.

  1. you account shared which is against the rules -should've used customs vs bots to be honest if you knew he had anger issues if you really wanted to break that rule
  2. you are responsible for everything that happens on your account.
  3. remember everything you "buy" is basically renting. you get kicked out of an apartment for breaking the terms of your agreement you don't get a refund for all the months you've stayed there.
  4. did the right thing submitting a ticket

bright side? you can start a new account and play with your brother

Riot doesn't allow sharing accounts and you agreed to the** terms of use **that you wouldn't share it.
