banned due to the use of malicious 3rd party programs or modifications... That I did not do..

I get an email today saying:

Hello Summoner,

Your account: ------ was banned due to the use of malicious 3rd party programs or modifications to your League of Legends client.

I have not played in almost two months, and only launched the client to keep it up to date, so why did I get banned...? What would cause this to happen, and what can I do about it? Anyone know if there is some program that might set a false positive? (possibly discord?)

Contact the support. That's basicly all you can do

what type of ticket would this be? I submitted one under "I need help recovering my account." but I am not sure if that is the correct category.

On basicly all categorys you get a really sooner or later and they will Tell you if it was the wrong one. They are almost always nice guys

I actually am asking what I should do. I have never had an issue before, so I don't know what the procedure for this is.

Dont play that, some guy in a discord said that they saw you do scripts with ezreal or something.../
