Penalties for supports who DON'T buy vision

I'm so sick of having supports who DO NOT buy vision. Wards are such an important part of successful rank games, and yet id recon 30% of supports blatant refuse to buy sightstones.

Last game, we had a Veigar follow this same old pattern, The enemy have a Rammus who is tearing apart bottom, and our Veigar flatly refuses to buy vision. Not to mention there is a Teemo in top lane. So naturally a sweeper combined with some vision would be a good idea. I suggest this to the player, and again flatly refuses, calls me a %%%boi tells me he never buys sightstone and that was that.

I want to see greater penalties to players who DO NOT work with the team. Trolls are ruining my League of Legends experience. Between hacks, smurfs, poor sportsmanship, and trolls the league experience is getting worse and worse.

What i want to see is more penalties for players who troll other players, its not good enough. Pls Rito Pull your finger out and deal with this issue.

Supports aren't required to buy vision items. It is as open to buy for anyone else as it is for the support.

Besides, sightstone is about to be removed from the game anyways. They are tacking the ward ability to the gold gen "support" items.

Supports may build anything they want just like any other player. His language used is the only thing punishable in this case.

That veigar placed 23 wards (10 more than anyone else on your team). The fact that he did it without sightstone just goes to show how bad the rest of the team was at warding.

Penalties for people who don't work with their team are not the same as penalties for supports that do not use Sightstone. One punishes people who harm their team, the other would limit potential, albeit rare, team play.

In any case Sightstone is getting a huge change very soon, so it's not like they could do anything about it right now anyway.

If you feel that sightstone is necessary for the game and other teammates aren't getting it then buy it yourself. Don't be a prick to your teammates simply for the reason that they won't do something you want them to do. That's like the definition of entitlement and it's super annoying.

Your match history doesn't show a glowing report of someone who wards a ton themselves.

I swear this post gets made at least once a day.

VISION IS A TEAM EFFORT. How about next time, I report laners for not upgrading trinkets or even placing their yellows that they start with? Or a jg that doesn't gank my lane. Or the top laner who has 5 deaths in the first 10m?

BTW, half of this issue is caused by Autofill.

I just got out of a game where the support was teemo, sold their spellthief 20 minutes in, started farming up in my lane, and did not build sightstone. So I built relic shield and sightstone myself.

You understand vision is highly important. So buy some more vision yourself if you want to roam around the map into enemy territory. Or you could stop worrying about what your support is buying, stick to your lane, watch your minimap, and push towers. Get objectives. Fuck focusing on wards. Keep an eye on your minimap and stay away from areas that aren't warded. If you can see all the enemies, then you know a certain area is safe. You don't NEED wards to win games. I know I'll get a lot of hate for this. I know warding is important but... come on. You want to punish supports who don't buy sightstone??? Stop. Just focus towers, run when you see enemy laners coming your way. (As in, they leave their lane towards you, not as in you see them when they're 20 feet away because of a ward). Just adjust to the lack of vision, use your wards effectively, and hope that extra 800 gold on your support means you win a fight.

Imagine you are playing gangplank, there are tons of different itemization for him, how would you react if i was raging at you because i want you to buy warmog but you don't ? Following your reasoning you should receive a punishment because i wanted you to itemize that way, it's dumb.

If i want you to buy ninja tabis because the enemy team is all AD and you want sorcs boots because you're AP, should you be punished ?

Supports, especially AP support might want to buy AP or MP first. Keep in mind that you can play any champion in any role it's not punished, you are mad because you have a top lane teemo ? be thankful it's not a Janna !

I am not defending that Veigar by any means since I as as support main allways buy a SS.

Also, I agree Riot will issue a penalty for supports who don't buy SS, it will the exact same day they issue a penalty for ADCs that fail to CS less than perfecly, so you better practise a lot if you dont want to be banned.
