Leaverbuster - The Weak Ultimatum

I just started trying to get serious into league for the first time, as my interest in MOBA's has finally increased. But served with my first leaverbuster warning, where I did not even leave the game/get kicked/dc'd at all, really pisses me off with the language used. I am autistic and it is just the biggest door in the world to me. I cannot get over it and just type in 'I Agree.' I will inevitably afk/dc one day. I cannot control that, its lying. I am that stupid kind of person who just turns around shrugging, figuring it is as good as a permaban.

Like I want to enjoy the game, but this stupid hookup just stops me. I am sure it is there just to let people know that there is consequences, but the way going about it is wrong. I am aware that this post serves nothing and will likely just have someone praise that one less autistic twit is off a game they enjoy. I just want it known that there is a barrier for some mindsets that is largely impacting for the game. Any company that cares about money should at least care to know about that.

Just paid 20$ of riot points just to make a dumb decision of quitting immediately over something dumb. FML.

All I gotta say is keep playing. Leaver busters are no big deal, everyone gets them at one point or another. This game is one where you use a lot of strategy and intelligence and it could pretty easily help you learn something, it helps anyone who plays it seriously to learn something and improve physical skills, like reaction times, similar to how a sport would. I know from personal experience with my now ex that autistic people make big deals out of things that someone who isn't autistic wouldn't. I've also gotten leaver busters when I didn't even leave a game, but typically it takes leaving multiple times to get a leaver buster penalty, and it will never give you any chat restriction, temporary, or permanent ban, only a wait before you can enter queue.

I hate how the leave buster is even set up. Here's how it should work. Once you click the button, instead of locking you out of everything, it should at least be in the backdrop. Also you shouldn't have to stay in the queue so you can play whatever game for 20 minutes to pass the time like all the streamers do since they usually have to wait 30 minutes. Just keep playing for 5 games the it's gone. I kind of like how dota did it better. You are usually matched with other low priority players who are trash. Usually if your not bad, you will stomp. You have to play single draft which is where you're given 3 random heroes. You have to pick one. It could be a good hero, or a shitty super situational hero. In dota, all heroes are good in their own way but some just work better than others and the bad heroes are just extremely situational. Next you have to win or it doesn't count and you can't leave or you have to play even more games. As long as you don't have a reputation for ragequitting or getting reported alot, you won't have alot of games. The most I've had was 3. That's better than the 20 minutes you have to wait. Here you just play and close the game out early.

I greatly respect the fact that you don't lie, even in a stupid little automated popup like that.

I do not think I have much more to offer than that. I don't have autism, so I can't really offer more practical advice. I do hope you can find a way to keep playing however.

That being said, Riot rarely reads these boards. I suggest sending your message to player support as well.

if you are having technical problems, you can submit a ticket to https://support.riotgames.com and get technical help. They may be able to help prevent future cases of you being disconnected / crashing.
