Player told me to kill myself

So I played a game and afterwards the jax player on our team friended me just to tell me to kill myself. He went in to detail about how I should do it. Is there a way I can get this guy banned?

Did you report him in the post game lobby? If so, then it will be reviewed.

If not or if said after a report, submit a support ticket.

I did. But like I said he only told me in friend chat so I'm not sure if it will show up.

Friend chat? I missed the friended part. Did you accept a friend request from someone you just had a poor experience with?

First, that was stupid. Second, screenshot and send it to Riot support in a ticket. They may or may not take action since that would be an opt in communication. Regardless, they won't tell you if they do or don't take action for privacy reasons.

Just tell him to 'fuck off and sea lion elsewhere' that's how real men deal with it.

On a side note send a support ticket.

You can screenshot the chat and send it to riot support. Reports in the post game lobby will only look at behavior in the pre/post-game chat and in-game. Other than that I would be careful about friending strangers on the internet for reasons such as this.
