So I guess everyone can just report for anything now a days huh?

Like are you kidding me RIOT you can get reported for saying noob and nerd? like for real thats not even an offensive term. Hey but you know what riot, ill just do what you allow others to do. Ill just report everyone for any single word anyone says. Because apparently thats what you want a whole bunch of reports over nothing.

UPDATE: LOL are you kidding me. Welp ok ill do as you wish Ill report everyone for every single word.

Here's the thing: the system is set up in such a way that this is entirely okay. Any of your reports that don't meet the community's standards for toxicity will just get thrown out. It can't affect your report weight - because that doesn't even exist any more.

If it is a valid report, you've just helped clean up the community. Easy-peasy.

It's not that their word/phrase list is extreme -- it's how frequently you use those words and phrases.

If I call you a nerd once, that's one thing. If I spend 30 minutes calling you a nerd over and over and over, that's quite another.

They have it set to social justice warrior. Everything is racist, Nazi, fascist anymore. Players are even worse at the game and tissue paper thin skinned these days.

I miss the old days of league, less trolls least in my games, less withering flowers because words which are now more injury inducing than physical things and not related but part if the equation, less overloaded champions and items like duskblade.

Can't even give advice in a comical manner anymore, smdh.

If you want to be salty and spiteful, go ahread and report everyone. Just remember that over time your report will no longer mean anything, and you may face a ban for abusing the system.

Calling someone a noob or nerd once is fine, especially if you are joking, just don't push it. I have a feeling that you indeed went a little overboard with your noob/nerd calling.

Normal if once or moderation(won't get you banned): just survives 2v1 gank by barely escaping through a sick outplay juke on LB: "later nerds" Not normal(the kind of thing that can very quickly get you punished): "F**king nerd loser, so trash get a life nerd".

Normal noob calling: just loses clown fiesta level 1 invade where every single player dies except for their vayne, the sole remaining player out of 10, who SOMEHOW secured a god damn penakill at level 1: "Damn we're all a bunch of noobs lol"

Punishment worthy reaction to that same scenario: "You all are total f**king noobs wow how did that happen you guys are so trash now vayne is going to eat us for breakfast, garbage noobs go uninstall bronzie filth".

You can use noob and nerd without being banned as long as you do so in heavy moderation, and usually jokingly. The word will not get you banned just from saying it jokingly once. It's how you use it and how often.

Also, would you mind posting logs so we can see for ourselves?

Just don't do it. If anything just say it out loud like what most people do. Things like calling Gargas a "FAT MAN" or "saying you wanna build a wall to keep yordles out of summoner's rift. . .especially teemos" are seen more of jokes by most players. Just don't be direct with any name calling.

P.S: I will build a wall to keep the yordles out!! with Anivia. . .

That is exactly what I've been doing and I've been getting a lot more messages saying people have been punished. I guess I'm apart of the gestapo now, feels good man.
