Does Riot reward sexual harassment and punish its victims?
The punishment for leaving champ select rewards bullying. An easy example that comes to mind is a lobby I joined where someone made sexually inappropriate comments towards me, and I felt uncomfortable and left. I was the one penalized, whereas the player who sexually harassed me goes on to play. Whether or not a player is "better off dodging a troll", the fact remains that when someone is sexually inappropriate, the one who is bullied out of the lobby is the one who pays the time penalty.
Imagine quitting a job after being sexually harassed. You aren't eligible for unemployment benefits because you quit, and you quit because you were harassed. You have a period of time now where you don't have a job and can't work, and in reality the person that should be fired is still at that office harassing others.
The player who can successfully bully and harass others is rewarded with increased time in games, and decreased queue times.
The overall message seems to communicates that Riot rewards sexual harassment and punishes its victims.
Edit: Many pointed out that the current system allows for shorter queue times. I glad you think they're worth it.
