Why was I banned?

Hey, let me start off by saying this is not a plea for help, nor asking for mercy, because I already had a 20 min queue dodge timer for leaving games. Although I have no ban history, I imagine whatever rule I broke to get instantly permabanned must have been a harsh one, so could someone at riot tell me what I did wrong? The email address associated with my account was not verified at the time, and I opened a support ticket last night just asking what I was banned for and no reply yet. Just want to make sure I know what I did wrong so I know not to repeat the offense again on my next account. Thanks!

Where would I find my logs at in my comp. directory?

There are none saved client side, what he means are the chat logs provided through the in-client Reform Card which will show up when you log into the client. If you don't get this you'll have to wait on your ticket response because it wasn't a punishment issued by the Instant Feedback System; try to be patient, they will get to your ticket as soon as they can.

If there's no message when you attempt to log in, you're likely going to have to wait.

It could be that Riot thought your account was compromised and locked it down until they could be sure that only the owner had control.

I've played a few normal games on my account on my step brother's computer before, as I usually play on a MacBook and he has a full gaming rig, so this could be the issue. Even though we have the same IP, I would imagine it still detects that we are not on the same computer.

They wouldn't (and shouldn't) ban you over that.

I sure would hope not, haha. I don't think this is the reason for my ban, though, as that doesn't seem like it would be a big deal. Though, it could have thrown up some red flags, and could possibly be the reason since my macbook crapped out on me halfway through a ranked game and I had to continue the game on his computer, after quitting league on my mac. This only happened once, and I'm sure there are logs of the game crashing multiple times in my file directory, but I doubt this is the reason.

Its near impossible to get banned for dcing

Chat logs are given if you were punished for toxicity when you try to sign into the game If no logs are present, open a support ticket. It could be for account protection
