bots in ARAM?

I don't know if this is already something that has been addressed in a current thread, mainly because I'm really kinda pissed about it and I'm too impatient to search.

There has been a massive influx of bots in ARAM and most of them are designed to stop around the second turret and spam abilities - I guess to prolong the match and get more experience(?) - Anyways, I will always report these when I see them and I have yet to get the instant feedback response that you will see if someone you reported has been punished. I know there is at least one group out there that uses bots to level accounts and sell them at level 30. That's kinda not cool in itself, but especially when a 20min ARAM match lasts 45min because of these bots it really takes away the competitive edge, knowing that two or three champs will just be running straight down lane spamming all abilities all match.

Why hasn't Riot found a way to put a stop to this? I mean - they've invested enough into their automatic system to punish people when their client crashes, but they can't have like a punkbuster/cheat buster system?

Or am I wrong for thinking that this shouldn't be an issue? Is it really more important to crank out new champs and skins regularly?

I play a lot of ARAM because I like the fast paced but more chill atmosphere and I've encountered so many of these bots lately it's insane and ruining the game mode for me

Look at THIS game I played a few days ago, not one but TWO bots on my team (Zac and Leona). We got lucky with our last push and managed a win that I'll never forget lol, and I thought it was done from the start.

But I report these bots over and over, every game I get them on my team or see them on the other team and I know nothing is being done. It sucks having wins decided on which team has a bot or which team's bot feeds more or doesn't disconnect.

I really wonder what reporting them is going to do when they can just create another account and lvl it to 30 in 12 hours or something.

it happened to me as well. from 5 games last night, only 1 was bot free. it's frustrating and painful to see the enemy team fed that you cannot even get to the tower and get half your HP off a Katarin, par example.

Someone said that i should increase my MMR in ARAM but how can that be if i am only placed with Bots and no matter how strong the normal players in my team become, the enemy team will be twice as big due to 1/26/1 TAric or 2/23/2 Gnar, etc

Be careful not to post this on Riot's facebook or you'll get advised to 'raise your ELO' (real original), or just run ranked. ARAM was created for casual players and we shouldn't have to raise our ELO to avoid bot software. I was thinking maybe Riot could implement CAPCHA's? Or something similar? Anyway I posted on the Ask Riot about this so hopefully they actually address the situation. I'm tired of feeling like I have to go in with a full premade just to have a good time.
