Riots system of reporting is ridiculous. "toxic" is so broad and safe space nonsense

If you are crushing in a game, your bot lane is feeding and refusing to ward or group or do anything they should be doing and you get frustrated and tell them to "fucking group you idiots". This isn't toxic, this is a competitive person who wants to win and people who refuse to work as a team to do so.

If they talk back and you and get into an argument, this is not toxic. This is a stupid internet fight that means nothing and the team can mute them and you if it bothers them.

NOW, if a team member is intentionally not grouping or INT'ing THAT is toxic. That is what should be bannable. If a person is using racial slurs and other nonsense, go ahead and perma ban them.

I'm sick of pinging assist 20 seconds in advance only to watch my team not react or someone doesn't want to work with the team because "he didn't get ganks and you are a shit jungler" and I'm supposed to just sit there for the 10th time that game when asking nicely does nothing and just suck it up. Has anyone at riot ever played sports? it seems they haven't because if a player on a team did what these kids do in ranked, they would get yelled at and benched.

I'm sorry but calling someone bad for playing bad or telling them to play safe and stop fighting is not being toxic, its being competitive and RIOT has normal and ranked games confused for some reason\

Also if you are "playing ranked just to mess around and have fun" stop. ranked is for winning and competing. Do that shit in normals

With that attitude, you're going to have a very rough time. Just because you don't agree the with the definition of toxic doesn't change the fact that it is toxic. Riot is doing an amazing job. I will continue to support them to fight against players who think being toxic is okay. Regardless if you agree with it or not.

what rank are you? the reason i ask is op.gg says you are a 49 percent 1200 game gold 5 player.

means you are at your best elo and prob deserve to be lower. You are a prime example of a lower tier non competitive player and YOUR attitude is exactly why you are where you are at.

Doesn't matter and means absolutely nothing. And doesn't change the fact that the rules apply to everyone because we ALL agreed to the exact same rules before we even downloaded the game. You're playing by Riot Game service rules. Unranked to Challenger, everyone plays this video game to have fun and everyone is following the same rules. If you're not here to have fun and want to disregard the rules, this game is definitely not for you. You're here to enjoy yourself here, but not at everyone's expense.

Ha, I'll rather remain in the tier I got rather losing accounts for the toxicity just to get in the high tier which basically accomplish nothing. My attitude keeps an account, while yours don't. And I'd rather have a positive player rather than an asshole who's good at a video game. Your logic fails when it comes to the most comprehensive fact that of a video game is for entertainment. Your luck of ever being in lcs, your luck is better at a lottery. Because you wouldn't be playing for any other reason.

So your logic of "Oh you're low tier, this video game are meant for the professionals, you're not supposed to have fun this video game" is just as bad as dad jokes. Cringeworthy. And that excuse will not get you through another permaban. So try again.

screaming is hardly the word. also my teamates could "mute me" and also its a competitive game. if they are sucking and constantly doing so yeh it gets annoying real fast

Don't dodge the question. You brought up sports, but your attitude has no place in sports.

Know where your attitude would be appropriate? The early years of internet gaming, when anonymity allowed for rampant toxicity due to lack of personal accountability, and nobody had bothered to suggest that societal rules might actually apply online as well. The times are changing, and your style of communication is woefully outdated.

which way will have better results when dealing with total strangers?

#1 "fucking group you idiots" #2 "bot lets group up"

You get more honey with sugar than vinegar, sooner you realize that, sooner you will have more success in random matching of groups.

Because no matter how bad someone plays the game, getting hostile with rude language will not improve the situation.

you clearly havent played league. "please group" does not always work. after they go 0-10 they start blaming the team or just ignoring you. some people straight up mute the entire team at the start and just solo shove and die all game.

some people get frustrated after the 10th time someone fails to do the right thing. thats just reasonable

I've played it, and as soon as people start ending messages with idiot the team synergy, minimal as it might be, goes to shit.

No use adding fuel to a burning fire, but by not getting hostile, it might help the game turn around. You can't win all your games, only about 50% over the long term, but doing what you can to make a positive atmosphere, instead of a hostile one can be the turning point for those games that need teamwork to win.

I've never seen anyone start to play better after being called an "Idiot".

Sounds like a toxic person trying to justify being toxic. If you're doing fantastic but your team mates are dumb, then there's nothing you can do. Tell them politely what to do, if they don't listen, then try to work around it. Or just accept the fact that you will lose because your team mates are shit. It happens. Can't win them all. And if you argue, that's even worse. There's a mute button for a reason.
