ive played multiple games and lost due to afkers and i lose promos because of it i feel like i should not be punished for them leaving. can riot some how make it so when the leave after the remake timer that the rest of the team doesnt get punished for their rage quit. the game should be a write off and i shouldnt lose lp because of this now i have to climb back up to promos and hopefully i dont get any afkers while im in them again
The reason the /remake system is only limited to leaves within the first 3 minutes of the game is to limit the amount of abuse of the system. If at a leave at any moment in the game could result in a /remake, there would be too much potential abuse of the system.
One big reason of this is it would create a rather big incentive for players to start harassing a teammate when they're losing to try and get that teammate to leave. Then they would be rewarded for their toxic behavior with no LP loss. Sure, we could punish players that do this, but Riot doesn't want to implement something that would give so much incentive for their players to be toxic in the first place.
