Loss Prevented

Hi, I've been playing your game for over 2 years now and i spent way too much money on it (back when i was playing more often) i came into an issue with the ranked system and i believe that i am not the only one. As you know we are all trying out best to climb and achieve our goals that we set for ourselves this season unfortunately sometimes its impossible due to individual players that are ruining the game by leaving it causing players to play a 4v5 match which will most likely result in a loss. So far I've had about 5 games where i had a leaver and it ruined my game competently. The only way to fix this would be ban the player for a week for the first time then 2 weeks and perma ban and on top of that the losing team should get a loss prevented, I mean we didnt lose cause we played poorly out score was 29v31 only reason we lost was cause our adc decided to leave at level 10 and not come back causing us being out numbered and lose. Stuff like this make me want to quit the game stop putting money and time into it. If you value any of your player Riot you should implement Loss Prevented in games with AFK

Have you ever won a game where someone on the enemy team left? You shouldn't get a win for those games right? You should get a win prevented right?

...

This is brought up almost daily and it's just not a reasonable suggestion. It will never be implemented and you need to get over your tilt about having someone leave. The simple fact is it's far rarer then you are all making it out to be, and in the long run equals out in terms of having someone on YOUR team afk and having someone on the ENEMY team afk.

There would need to be a time restriction on when the register it as a leaver though. Otherwise someone could leave right before the nexus is destroyed and prevent the loss for everyone else. Would the winning team still get a win?

Using the better of 2 evils arguement 1- 4 players are disappointed but don't lose lp 2- 5 players are disappointed but don't gain lp

Numbers game you will satisfy the 5 before the 4, as the 5 did nothing to cause a leaver neither did the 4, but to punish the 5 is absurd

It's also of note, you played though the 4v5 to long past the point that surrender became an option(based off your example) if someone dc's and do not reconnect quickly, good chances they can't/won't. But your team knew that and still would rather continue the game that 90% of the time would result in a loss. So you continued a losing game, which most people also want to be a punishable offence.
