Should we punish bad-skilled players?

Nearly every game there is a yasuo, riven or vayne who kept dying and feeding. These players are not intentionally letting the enemy slaining them, but literally just feeding, by kept pushing lane without wards or fighting 1v2. They getting really bad results like 1/10 and the fed enemy can simply dominate the entire game. This ruins my experience so much. They usually will tell you "its only a Game" ! Imagine you get 3 kills after using your strategy and your tricks. Before you have time to enjoy your slain, this fed enemy simply kills you without even trying. How would that make you feel? Games are for fun. People says being toxic isnt fun, but is fighting 4v5 fun? (4v5 when one of your team is literally useless) I want to ask when could these players be punished?

I've considered a system where "bad players" are temporarily restricted from ranked games. If they can play a normal game "decently", then they would be allowed to try ranked games again.

The punishment is losing the game and dropping mmr. They keep being the cause of the loss and they're going to lose more games than their teammates over more games.

Then you don't see them anymore.

Perhaps with larger MMR or LP losses, but I think its more of an issue that you're punished for having those people on your team.

Did you know that you can lose alot of mmr quickly simply by losing consecutive games It's a real strange thing loss 1 = -20lp loss 2= -20lp loss 3=-22 lp loss 4= -25 lp loss 5= -30 lp OKay maybe its not that extreme but as your mmr begins to shift away from your current ranking you will either lose or gain more LP to begin to either lift your mmr up or to lower your ranking

If you're losing games, your lp will suffer larger losses and smaller wins if you're winning games your lp will suffer smaller losses and larger wins

So a bad player will result in having a lower mmr and be in a division where his skill is no longer deemed bad but avg or acceptable for that division
