Modern days aram

Before riot implemented aram as a regular gamemode it was a custom game based funmode where you were to get a random champ and played for fun. Yes there have been trolls/flamers aswell but all in all everyone knew that it's ultimate goal wasn't to win but to experience the game differently by beeing forced to play a champ you were possibly not even used to and not beeing forced to focus on farm and levels since there were constant fights to keep up the excitement

Nowadays you get to wittness stuff like xxx[3:23]"open mid we have bad comp"

or xxx[5:32]:"you don't play yy champ how I think you should according to reason zzz"

or xxx[8:22]:"dude look your kda fkn troll"

It seems rather common to be matched with kda warriors that instantly stop playing if the game doesn't go in their favour. But are they in the right doing so?

What is your opinion towards modern aram and what have you experienced so far? Do you agree with the attitude that it is mostly about winning considering it beeing unbalanced and random at any means? Are people trolls for building champs differently or is aram the perfect place for doing so?

I always saw aram as an alternative to ranked and normals since it gave you the opportunity to queue alone without the hustle of trying your best. But nowadays it feels almost impossible doing so if you aren't queued up with premades.

sry for bad inglando

Maybe 1 in 10 ARAMs for me will have someone negative. Usually they're good fun where people realize when they lost at champ select. I hate the people who take ARAMs seriously. And by seriously I mean bitching and critiquing people, not trying to win. I always try to win. Aram is not an excuse to afk or troll, and it's never okay to sit there typing to criticize people's skill level.

I can't even begin to understand why, but my experience with ARAMs have generally been better than they were before.

It could be that I have improved so it is less likely that people will rage at me personally, or it is less likely that my team will lose.

I suppose there could also be a result of match making putting me with better players, ... for whatever reason. I'm actually not sure how ARAM match making works.

But, I do know what you mean because I have absolutely had those experiences, and I am confident that I will have them again. ... probably in the near future.
