So i just got permabanned. this was after 1 game when i had a support that dc and i get flamed cuz i fed. didnt start saying anything when my team fed but i get 1v2ed and lose then they all roast me?? i dont think its fair that i paid alot of money for this game to just get it taken away while there are so many more toxics in the game but they dont get banned do they? not im my liking and i feel like they took free money from me. i quit this corrupted game.

Deep Terror Nami1 votesJust so you know, asking others to report people is harassment and not tolerated. Let people choose whether to report or not on their own; it only takes 1 report for the system to check a person's match, and 8 more reports won't make it check any harder.

Tysmin1 voteswell to be fair you could have edited out the toxic bits with the way you put up the chat. It is typically better to put up a screenshot of the chat rather than typing it out to avoid accusations such as that.
Zombiemaster2 votesRight now, punishments are given out based on recidivism, which basically means that once you receive one punishment, your next offense will give you the next harshest punishment. So, it's not really based on how toxic you were, but rather how often you exhibit that behavior. The punishment order goes as follows:
1.) 10 game chat restriction 2.) 25 game chat restriction 3.) 14 day ban 4.) Permanent ban
Of course, very extreme cases can and will skip the chat restrictions and be escalated straight to a 14 day or permanent ban. Also, it's possible to lower your "toxicity level" by one tier if you go 3 months without being punished.

The ban year is a code that helps let you know what you were banned for, which may not have been behavior-related. For example, it may be a charge-back suspension, which can be overturned once you submit a ticket in to Riot Support.

CheesyCheerio1 votesOk listen. If riot wants to punish me for responding to rage a better punishment would be to take away chat. By doing so it would take away my all chat and me talking back to ragers. Permabans for people that have spent so much on the game is a bit too much. I honestly believe the root for toxicity in league of legends is the lack seriousness for the justice to those that actually do harm in the game like feeders, trollers, people that are dc'd etc... While i reacted to getting flames by my teammates and getting permabanned, those that started the roast and those that are the cause of loss which in this case is the karthus support that lead to me getting roasted, did more damage to the game and probably got charged with nothing. since the league justice system which in my opinion and many others is trash, it lacks the punishment given to those that troll, feed which allows them to keep doing so with the slightest consequences. Therefore there isnt really anything to lose. That increases the amount of trollers. Since there are more trollers it increases the amount of flamers attacked by the troll. This spreads to other games which keeps going on. And the reason there are so many flamers is that we are all alike. We all want to win and take the game seriously, and want to rank up to possibly masters/challenger. So excuse me when someone decides to give me negative responses when i have to deal with solo laning 2 people and recieve less of a punishment then me trying to defend myself. He caused more damage by continuing to call me bad and got a less and probably no punishment than me.

It doesn't matter what other people did, only you. You can't fight fire with fire or you will get burned.
Being toxic and flaming back at team mates is a way bigger problem than trolls. I've played thousands of games in every elo from bronze to diamond and I've seen maybe 3 or 4 intentional feeders. I encounter way more toxic little shits and they make the game anti-fun.
You have a skewed perception on the justice system for league. Of course you don't like it because you were banned. And they won't just perma mute you because you could find other ways to ruin games.
Try to learn from this ban and stop fighting the system that justly governs league of legends.
CheesyCheerio1 votessee but if the league community wasnt so screwed up i wouldnt be in this situation. i know that i cant fight fire with even more fire but im pretty sure we all get angry and after about a day of playing and alot of stressful loses, for this game to be the end of my league account just seems a bit unfair. for me to get banned for defending myself to his harsh sayings and for him not even getting a ban. but i see what your saying and im just gonna have to let go the 300$ i gave to this game for free.

You weren't banned for defending yourself, you were banned for the WAY you defended yourself.
I imagine someone said something like "stop feeding cheerio u noob" and you probably said "fuck you bitch I'm not."
Also if they were flaming you and you reported them, if they do it consistently they will get punished. You're not the only one to get banned.
Everyone gets stressed out, but it's the way you handle that stress that determines the fate of your account. You chose to be equally toxic, hence why you were banned.
Maybe one day when you get out of middle school you will understand why it's wrong to be a dickhead to someone who's being one to you.

SmokedAlmonds1 votesChat restrictions punish everyone so no thanks. I don't want to play with the people who are getting punished, period. If riot wanted to put them in their own queue instead of banning them I would be fine with that but riot has spoken out against "prisoners island" many times.
Chat restrictions reduce team communication and on a more personal level, they take up slots in my games that could have gone to people I want to play with.
