On the load screen I loaded 100% and so did everyone else except one player. I waited....patiently, because there was one person stuck at 43%. Finally decide to exit the game and reload. What do you know it was me who got DC and everyone else was playing the game. now I'm restricted, even though I did good and we won the game. The other team had someone get pissed off too so bad they just started to feed the whole game. I bet they don't get punished. Thank you Riot.

It's bad luck. However, I don't believe leaver buster works immediately after just one game. Also, don't bring a strawman argument into the situation. I understand your frustration but it doesn't really matter. Whether the feeder did or did not get punish is irrelevant to your situation of being disconnected.

No its not bad luck, its Riots stupid policy and it did take effect immediately. It was the first thing that happened when the game ended. Nobody even had a second to report. The feeder has everything to do with it because he doesn't get punished when people who don't deserve it do.

if it was just one game, you won't get busted through leaver buster.

You would have had to accumulate at least 5 AFK games for you to get busted.

So don't rage quit / AFK during your games you don't need to AFK. It'll use up your AFK grace tokens that is supposed to be for emergency / technical difficulties.

Also, if this happens frequently, I suggest you to not download stuff / stream stuff during the loading screen. The game stops loading when it doesn't have enough bandwidth do load the game.

apparently not, because this only happened to me one time and I have restrictions. I can rage if I want this is BS. Even If I did go AFK 5 games, that isn't bad for playing over 800 games.

The AFK grace counters to replenish over time. Or rather, the penalty counter decays over time.

Its not bad, just don't go complaining to Riot for punishing you for your actions when the real technical difficulties hit, causing you to get a leaver buster count.

Wrong again. League of Legends is a free to play game. Everything in the game (aside from RP of course) can be gotten just through playing the game normally. If you choose to spend money on the game then it was your choice to do so, not Riots. Also, where's your proof that Riot treats their customers like garbage? If it's all the "I was banned" threads here then no, those bans were deserved and the majority of people hating on the systems because of it are just banned troll ragers.

The point I'm trying to make is that just because you spend money on the game doesn't mean you're exempt from the rules. You said and I quote:

This implies that people pay money to actually play the game, which is false. The people being banned are the ones who choose to act up and be jerks to other people. Nik Nikerson responded with:

You seem to think that Riot is screwing over people who choose to spend money on the game when in reality the only ones they're screwing over are the people who like to troll and be jerks to others by punishing them for acting up. Just because some people may not spend money on the game doesn't mean that they're not a customer (this is a free to play game after all), Besides, paying players and non-paying players are treated exactly the same as everybody else. Again, if you have proof that Riot is treating its customers like garbage then link it here.

LeaverBuster doesn't punish for leaving/afking just one game, it punishes for consistently leaving/afking multiple games over a short period of time. From Ulanopo's Knowledge Base:

I only left one game and it was for a good reason. I shouldnt have been banned.

Two quick things: [1] No one in this forum can help you with a LeaverBuster ban. Thats a separate system and we have no oversight or control over it. [2] A LeaverBuster ban occurs because you have accumulated a large number of leaves and/or AFK time. It is your responsibility to fix your **** before it reaches that level.

That established, there is NO good reason to leave a match. The system is tuned so that you can leave if you have to, but only on an infrequent basis. Its all the leaves and AFKs before the one that triggered LeaverBuster that led to your ban. Its like using up all your sick leave to go to the beach, then complaining that you dont have any PTO when you fall ill. YOU chose to use up your leeway with the system.

What the other person did doesn't matter as this is about you and you alone. If the other person has a habit of intentionally feeding then they will eventually be punished. Again though, this case is about you and you alone.

P.S. Having a civil discussion means not calling or assuming that anyone who disagrees with you is a Riot fanboy. If you want Yesman answers then you're out of luck.
