Does the Tribunal exists? Or is it just marketing?

First of all does the tribunal really exists? I think it's only marketing, it doesn't do anything because in 2 years i haven't seen anything. Me and soo many of my friends already lost interest in the game because of negative players experience. I haven't heard of anyone being punished, and if you complain, you don't feel satisfied because you don't know if anyone really listens.

Even the support is basically nowhere to be found you just received something like:

> We understand that you want to get word out about community member(s) regarding their behavior but this is not the correct avenue to get visibility on them. Please continue to use our report feature within game or send a ticket into Player Support with full details regarding the player.

before they delete your post. And the end.

So, what do you think, about RIOT against bad player experience?

The Tribunal itself has been "down for maintenance" for a long time now. But in place of the Tribunal that used to exist, there's a new automated system processing reports.

As for whether or not it's working, just peruse this section of the boards a bit for all the "why was I banned" threads, then come back here. 100% guaranteed the system is functioning and people are getting punished (and rightfully so).

The Tribunal DID exist. It no longer does. It has been shut down for maintenance to make it better. The problem was predominantly that most people on the tribunal would vote to punish regardless of whether there was truly an offence or not.

It has been down since before I started (early season 4). The reason it feels like it "doesn't exist" is because Riot still references it in loading-screen tips (something they've never thought to update) and it has been so long since it was taken down for repairs that probably half of the player base or more didn't play when it did exist.

Last I heard, the thought was to put in lots of fake "test cases" and for many of them to be positive behavior. Also to add the option to say that behavior was positive and to reward the player rather than punish (i.e. theoretically a reward system would be introduced). Perhaps Hextech Crafting replaced that idea and hence we have further delays to what will actually happen.

I think Riot should make a statement about what they're going to do. Currently it's all automated - if they think they can improve the AI to a level where automated bans/punishments are sufficiently accurate then by all means, just tell us that and move on.

Hey Cumulus,

Your post was removed as Naming & Shaming isn't allowed on the Boards. As explained in the message sent to you, if you wish to report someone's behavior you can do so using the in-game tools or by submitting a ticket to Player Support.

The best option is to report using the in-game tools because this sends the player into the current version of the Tribunal which is automated. The version of the Tribunal where players vote on other players' actions is currently not enabled. The current automated version was built using the feedback from the old version so functions similarly but much, much more quickly.

the tribunal no longer exists and is currently replaced by an automatic punishment system.

the bahvioral team @ riot has a long way to go to improve on their communication and feedback on their system.

if you hang out on these boards enough, you will indeed see that people are being punished.

its working, but to get anything, they have to like feed 50 games straight, use racial slurs over and over or afk for 50 games in a row. It's almost a joke.
