I'm just curious what the community thinks about this? maybe it was just...just let me know? this was my 14 day bann.

You weren't negative at all as these fanboys will try to convince you otherwise. The problem is you said a word that was equally disturbing as "poopoo head" so therefore you can be banned. Riot Lyte has made it where if you don't compliment everyone and if you say a word that is equally disturbing as "poopoo head" you will be permabanned.

You said the words "fuck" and then you repeated the katarina phrase that refers to a homosexual or a cigarette.

Yeah I mean I didn't thinks I don't deserve to be punished. I mean I was toxic 2 games before this that led to a 10 game chat restriction and a 25 game chat restriction. I was just kinda curious. I felt like this game wasn't really deserving whatsoever of an escalation up the ladder but the below comment by Erdrik I guess I can understand why it happened. I just didn't really think it should've. Of course some things Erdrik said he only said because he cant see allies chat as well.

I mean I didn't cry about my support at all. the alistar was my support and I said good job to him quite some amount during this game. When I told him not to split push he totally agreed with me and said I was right. I don't think you quite understand that situation but it really doesn't matter. there were 5 players mid and he was down bottom lane farming minions by himself. He knew he was in the wrong and I didn't cry about him. I said bro you gotta not split push for real. and he responded "you're right" soo you're not really right here anyway.

Don't quote another player's hate speech. The system will flag you for it. Don't quote another player's toxic chat. The system will flag you for it, counts as an accusation, and is itself toxic.

Report begging, Report calling is considered toxic.

Your report is all that is needed to flag another player's match for review. You don't need to ask anyone else, and it just invites retaliation.

Yes, a 14 day ban for this. Punishment is not based on severity of offense. It is based on how many strikes you've already accrued.

1st strike - 10 game chat ban 2nd strike - 25 game chat ban 3rd strike - 14 day full ban 4th strike - perma

If your last punishment was a 25 game chat ban, then the next punishable offense will be a 14 day full ban regardless of severity.

An exception to this is hate speech, ect. (hence why it is a bad idea to quote another player's hate speech)

okay. I can get that. I guess it makes sense. I didn't quite mean is this worth a 14 day ban..I meant is this worth punishment. But yeah I can understand that I guess. I really wish you could see the other side chat, because a ton of what happened that you have commented on was a reply to the players question or something. I pinged help or assist me, they responded "what do you want me to do?" i responded with "you can't split push man" and they were okay with it, alistar said "yeah you're right man my bad." so I get it though. I got reported by katarina because I told people to report her...so she got mad at me and reported me back just because. He was flaming our team and their team the entire game. I'm sure he got the same punishment as me. But I understand now I guess.

Honestly? I wish I could too. But thats just me. Riots policy is that you are only responsible for, and subsequently judged on, your own actions. Normally I agree with them, but lacking other players chat does make it hard to determine if a conversation even needs to be judged in the first place.

Hopefully when the Tribunal returns it will show all the chat like it used to, and maybe then the reform cards will be revamped to match.

That said, in regards to responding to the Kat. I fully take Riots side. When the conversation does need to be judged then it doesn't matter who started it or why you said a thing. Regardless of the reason why the other players in the match don't want to see it.

Just mute, play without retaliation, then report at the end of the match.

yeah I guess. I've just played this game for quite some time and never had something so small get someone banned lol. its kinda just gotten crazy the things people take offense too and you can get banned for.

any punishable chat will move you up a tier in the ladder. if you do the same after your 14 day ban, you'll get permabanned. Yes, I've seen worse but that's not the point.

yes I know how the system works...regardless...this chat...was even worthy of being punished? i mean i've played leauge of legends for years and i've been banned before and i've had friends who have been banned before. Justly so of course. This game was worth of even going through to the report boards? it wasn't reviewed by tribunal or community. This match was banned within about 30 sec after game ended.

I mean to say, this game went through the system and was deemed justifiably banned? I feel like this game log was very....moderate. I said "fuck" one time but not towards anyone and cussing is allowed...hence being allowed to turn on and off language filter.

i think it's a pretty unknown thing in-game, but a quick skim of some of the "perma-banned" threads here (especially ones where rioters respond) confirms it is a punishable thing

you were negative in chat and that in itself is punishable. yes there are worse offenses but you were walking a fine line after your 25 game chat restriction. any positive report will get you punished.

Some things that look negative I think weren't if you see what they wrote. They said why are you pinging me? I responded with "you were late again is why" but understandable too. I mean I was just saying i've played this game for a long time and never had such a medicore thing lead to a bann even a chat restriction

I read it, Riot has an algorithm they've developed to get rid of people that aren't too bright and are mad all the time. It keeps the kids happy and buying skins. Computer decided your long rant sucks, so make a short rant next time and don't be such a dummy setting off the algorithm.

40 min LoL match. Talking in game and saying things like "gj" "lets take dragon" "oh yeah you were late again" "just press q w e and we win fight free double" isn't anything thats dickish or cussing lol. The only cuss word i said the entire match was "fuck" and it was to apologize for missing my two-shiv. Hence me not understanding anything you're saying. If you're gonna comment on a post actually read it first :D

All of that can be communicated with the alert ping system no one wants to hear your Coach Madden ranting. There are thousands of pro videos on youtube with commentary to improve skills it isn't needed in game by someone that is mad + not skilled.

I was hoping this wasn't it. Thats why I wasn't sure. If that was the case thats on riot, not me and I think they should fix their mistake but even if they admitted to it being on the systems fault i'm sure they'd tell me that they can't help no matter what..

Um. It doesn't have to be worth a 14-day ban. It just has to be worth a punishment. That's how the strike system works. If you did something actually worth a 14-day ban at this point, you'd probably have gotten a perma-ban, given the fact you've already gone through 2 strikes.
