Good, here's my chat restriction log.

EDIT : Looking at the replies, -what he did doesn't matter- seems to be the common accepted opinion so I'll just leave it as that. It's just good to know for my next games.

It's funny because this has happened exactly 20 or 30min ago. I was expecting the chat restriction, and I am fine with it, but I'm genuinely curious to know what happened to the 2 guys, namely a Xerath and a Shaco -can't name them, against the rules obviously, we can't shame people shaming us in the game, that would be soooo unfair-

Since Riot doesn't give the full logs, I shall do it. I'll just remind that they said things like :

  • "wtf your build"
  • "stupid 13years old kid"
  • "you're mentally retarded" etc.

And no, there are no 3 games. Like I said this happened earlier and this is the only game in the log-in warning.

Oh and by the way, I'm still waiting for your thread Xerath. Would make things easier if I had access to the full logs.

Edit : I really wish Riot would start to give the full logs, because without the replies the whole chat log barely shows half of what happened in the chat.

It takes two to tango; if you just stop arguing with him it ends there. Engaging them in an argument like that just distracts players from the game (often making them play worse) and is just plain annoying. Mute them like you said you did so everybody can get back to the game and this won't happen.

Riot doesn't include the other player's chat logs because each player is responsible for their own behavior only. What the other person did doesn't excuse the behavior of anyone else, and it doesn't matter who started it.

If you find yourself frequently engaging other players in arguments like this, which tends to create a negative environment for everybody, I suggest muting anyone you feel is or may become a problem in chat. If you have to "/mute all" at the beginning of every match so be it, though I don't think that is usually necessary.

Riot has what another member of the board once called the "shopkeeper/bartender way of banning". If 2 people are fighting, they get thrown out. For the shopkeeper it doesn't matter who started it, it only matters that the people fighting break the rules and cause distress to other people.

You broke the rules of the game by cursing and going afk, so you get restricted.

Then how & why did you keep on responding to them?

It looks like you spent the entire match egging them on, even to the point that you claimed that you wouldn't help them.

It also looks like you intentionally went afk according to your own admission in the chat logs.

THe logs are recorded by RIot, but they are ignored, as majority of team reported you, not Xerath. The whole Tribunal system is arbitrary and basd on how players report, not how players behave. His lying is irrelevant, as it does not matter. Adelaine Skyhart case they checked logs, and found out the reports were based on lies, but RIot did still say it was justified ban, as it was already suffered.... This is Riot logic. You should be more tolerable to off-meta, but if you don't, the poor supports get banned.

Thus Riot checks the chat for only condemning factors. If the chat contradicts with automatic punishment, it is ignored.

All of this created a very negative experience for at least 3 and probably 9 other players. Goading a teammate is TOXIC. Threatening them with trying to get them banned is toxic. Going afk and TELLING them your afk is TOXIC. Refusing to assist your team is TOXIC.

So i hope you enjoy your punishment. Kee it up because this will lead to a perma ban if you continue to do this.
