I want this player banned and possibly there ip address not allowed into your servers

this person harrassed me the whole game, and it was not helping me at all. My grandmother had just past away a few days ago havn't seen her in years but i remember her like she was right next 2 me yesterday. this person harrassed me, bullied me and made the game very distasteful. i like playing this game but within just 1 month of playing this game i already want to uninstall and never play again. i cant stand people like this and i feel like reporting them after the game isn't helping anyone. please respond to this i would like to give you the name of the player(s) but i don't wont any repercussions if i just post it here i don't know if that would allowed to do.

If you reported them after the game then you have done everything you need to do.

when you just just lost someone that was in your familly your emotions are bit heightened. some people become loose cannons. sorry if its confusing m8. :/

Go to ipchicken.com . That's your IP address. An IP Ban would say "anyone trying to connect from that number is not allowed".

The problem is that that IP address doesn't represent one person. It could represent a household, where the action of one sibling resulted in the other being unable to play now. Or it could represent something much bigger, like an entire university, where now all students in on-campus housing aren't allowed to play.

The university closest to me admits about 4,000 freshmen every year, so an IP Ban trying to hit one person at one university could ban hundreds people every year and keep new players from signing up.

Tether your computer to your phone and you've got a new IP address. Go to the library to play and you've got a new IP address. Use a VPN and you've got a new IP address. Dial up your internet provider and ask them to change your IP address and you've got a new IP address.

IP bans are far more effective at hitting innocent bystanders than keeping the actual troublemakers down.

i'll look it up, i mainly felt like that since I'm sure i've been reported for "feeding" or when i defend myself because i'm an idiot who doesn't mute people and get reported for unsportsmanlike conduct or verbal abuse.

You can defend yourself so long as it's in a neutral or positive manner and not raging and acting like a jerk. Also, there's a difference between feeding due to having a bad game and intentionally feeding due to just wanting to just troll and be a jerk.

Yeah generally cursing someone out solves nothing, but you can be a jerk even without cuss words. Some people seem to think that you have to use curse words in order to be a jerk-you don't. Before pressing Enter, ask yourself "Is this really needed or helpful?" if it's not then don't press Enter. As for your other point you're right in that some people don't or won't understand the difference between accidental/unintentional feeding and purposeful/intentional feeding, though it can be hard to tell the difference between the two sometimes depending on the situation and circumstances.
