Riot its hard to feel secure with our reports

I get that you cant always give us feedback but we should get an option to know if you actually found this person guilty and if its put on record even if they didn't get a punishment. Like we should get a check mark that says "receive a report feedback message". If its so much for the system the limit the number of feedback reports that we can receive over a period of time. This will make the community have a better state of mind when we report but also it might also put some fear in flamers and trolls because if they have reported someone and it happened to be legit they will be like "oh shit this actually works maybe i should stop fucking off". Because when we don't see results then it can feel hard to care about being honorable. And yes this is because I had an incident last night where there was a VERY toxic player who died once when I couldn't save them and took all of their aggression out on me from sexist remarks to trans phobic slander to literal inting. Now everyone on my team was defending me from this person. There was a duo that felt very bad for me and they added me after the game because I was keeping cool and I made plays that carried us and got us the win. One of the guys did go a bit too far in defending me and called the dude a retard and got punished...which sucks I mean he shouldn't have said that and I understand the system but we don't know if the other guy who had started everything even got a punishment. It doesn't feel fair what so ever. This isn't the first incident where I wish I could get some feedback on players. I don't put out reports too often because I wanna make sure that they aren't meaningless to the system. I have gotten only 1 feedback report. That doesn't put my mind at ease. It doesn't feel like the system is working.

I'm with you on getting a little bit more feedback on my reports, because it can feel really bad when you feel someone should not be playing anymore, and you look at their history, and they're playing several games after yours.

I disagree on feedback being more revealing, indicating who got hit with a punishment. Players deserve to have a chance at reform, and I feel like having that information that "this player was def punished" could potentially inhibit that.

There's probably a lot of metrics that go into whether or not we get that feel good IFS message, and I'm not sure if that message should increase or decrease in frequency, as both heavily frequent and infrequent messages could have deleterious effects on our perceptions of League, and likely how we report players.

Damn, this message pops up all the time! Better report that guy "ieatPOSlikU4breakfast" for bad name. This message never pops up. Why bother reporting people?

Point is, there's definitely a sweet spot, and it probably varies from person to person.

First off, i will have to be the asshole and say that what you are wanting literally is just to feel good that you got someone else in trouble.

Second, the system does work, as is told by so many people who post chat logs etc in player behavior that claim they are innocent. The peoples accounts do get punished and eventually banned, however for example Tyler1 was banned yet he still kept making accounts and playing.... this was a very public thing that unless you just started playing in the past 5 months or so id almost be surprised you didnt hear about it.

My philosophy with the reports is the same as with an enemy with 50 hp and im playing Zilean.... "set it and forget it." Within time it will explode, wether im watching it or not.

It's not about whether the system can handle it, it's about whether or not having consistent report feedback would enable trolls to figure out how to get around the system.

The best solution I've seen made was having a monthly feedback report that would give players stats on their report effectiveness without giving them actual specific info about particular reports. And to keep people from trying to give it small sample sizes to force it to give them useful info it could simply not apply to people who use the report feature in abnormal ways.

Spoiler: Reports mean shit and they wont get banned

Fount: I've report so many people ingame and to assistance, tracked them only to see how they keep playing everyday. Reports were made with a link to the game and screenshots. And were things like people saying "Im gonna make you lose because X" and then suiciding/going afk to base

If you want someone flaming you to be punished, then anyone else flaming is going to be punished as well. It's called being fair and neutral, unless you think the person defending you is "special and superior."

Instead of reporting and feeling like it's useless,( which I believe it is T1 ex.) Use the in game feature called "mute" and then you won't have chat contact with them and generally you'll play better and have a more enjoyable experience, oh and don't be that guy that say " blah blah blah imuting" just do it. As for other shtuff it's an online game can't always be helped people get mad but if they're muted you won't have to listen to them and you can continue to play how you wish, and to be quite frank about it nothing is absolute in stopping feeders

And to add, my main account had a 14 day ban on it already I got that in I believe 2016 after playing since 09 but it didn't stop me nor would it stop anyone else that's not known for league pro/stream simply make a new email if you don't have multi and make another account if you lack Smurfs or others
