League of Crybabies

SO, I Recently got chat restriction because of "bad behavior", "negative/offensive language" and stuff like that. I know the things I've said, because I told them all the time, these words are the following:

-You're useless -You suck -You're making me lose my time -I'm not babysitting a low iq person like you -Keep crying -Bye-Bye, keep trolling and feeding your lane, not gonna risk my KDA -Keep trolling, i'm gonna only stay on base soon -I'm not ganking you, don't waste my time and words

Literally anything more, no swearing, NO RACIAL SLURS, no REAL toxic behavior, etc. I DON'T thing calling someone BAD can be label as toxic, I'm being freaking HONEST, I LOVE TO TALK WITH FACTS, if I do BAD at a game, and someone tells me that and asks for surrender at any min (because it depends) I accept it without any objections because it's TRUE, IT'S A DAMN FACT, and you should accept it too pal, we are humans, and constructive criticism helps us to get better. (Positive or Negative, Search Sr Pelo's video you should watch it: https://youtu.be/W7djY-nXkpY)

If you can't accept negative opinions, you are a triggered crybaby, if that comment doesnt include any kind of swearing, what's the deal?

That's all I'm gonna say, thanks.

Chat doesn't exist so that you can assert your dominance behavior on other players. It is meant for you to communicate with your teammates in a constructive way. Telling someone that they suck is not helpful in any way. You could tell someone that they made a bad play, but even that isn't really all that helpful to the game. Suggesting better strategies is much more useful.

Then there are the people who like to believe that "it's trash talk, and trash talk is healthy for competition." That may be the case if you were trash talking your opponents. Most of the toxic behavior that I have seen is directed toward teammates. You may hear a professional athlete talk negatively about a competitor, but you will not hear athletes say their teammates suck.

Sure, people could stand to get a stronger backbone, but that doesn't mean it is okay for you to behave this way.

You got a chat restriction and came to an online forum to complain about it.

Irony at it's finest.

No. If some rando called you bad, you'd tell them to fuck off.

You are not offensive to anyone. You are annoying. You are an annoying yappy dog. Not even a cute pomeranian. A tiny little yappy dog. And when someone starts to play poorly or makes a mistake, you start yapping. And it's really annoying and makes people just want to leave the table. But they can't. So they have to deal with this annoying yappy dog who thinks he knows best.

Yappy dogs get removed.

Playing a game does not give you the right to treat your allies like shit. Neither does them playing the game poorly.

However, if you have no 'common decency' for me to appeal to, then perhaps I can appeal to expediency.

People respect criticism when it comes from someone who has earned their trust or respect. They do not accept it from 'random person I've known for 10 minutes who has done nothing but yell at me'. As a result, there is no chance that you commenting on them being bad will lead to a positive outcome. At all. Given that, the best possible outcome you can hope for is them continuing to play exactly as poorly as before. The worst possible outcome is them responding in kind, losing focus on the game, and playing even worse while reporting you and getting you chat restricted.

Given that being the case, the logical thing to do is simply NOT be an ass.

Toxic player logic:

  1. Be toxic.
  2. Get chat restricted or banned.
  3. Create thread on forums to QQ.
  4. Try to justify their toxicity by arguing with the forums.
  5. repeat.

Constructive critism means you're explaining what they did wrong and how to improve. It's not just telling them they're useless or they suck. That's just insulting them and is, in fact, toxic.

You got a chat restriction, exactly. Instant 14 day bans only come if you use particularly vulgar words. Be GRATEFUL you got JUST a chat restriction instead of the 14 day ban. The CR is your warning; if you'd received a 14 day ban your next punishment would be a permanent.

Flaming helps NO ONE. YOU waste time because both hands on the keyboard means none on the mouse which means you're not playing your 100%. YOUR TEAM has to deal with some loser complaining and whining all game. Even if I mute people I usually report them anyway because I don't want to play with people like that ever. Is flaming supposed to make them better? is saying "You suck" supposed to inspire them to do better? No, it only makes people play less as a team because they don't want to help someone being demeaning and rude to them, just like you said in your own toxic words: "I'm not ganking you, don't waste my time". You don't want to help them, they don't want to help you - both of you are toxic (you more than him obviously, and not wanting to help someone being a dick to you is pretty valid) and don't need to be in the game.

Also, there was NO form of constructive criticism in log you provided - it was all to demean and boost your own ego and make the rest of your team look stupid. Let's not use words we don't know the meaning of, okay? :(

Sounds like you're becoming the thing you're insulting. Or at least the post is showing that you are.

So how is telling people these things going to help them not only improve, but also help win the game?
