Just got Permaban

Well today is a sad day for me, i just got my account wich i've spent a lot of time and money permaban, like that, like it was nothing. I won't deny the fact that i was toxic in game, but still nothing outrageous i am just a hotblooded person who can easily be tilted in game, but that's just how i am. I tried working on that problem of mine, but too late. My issue though have nothing to do with my permaban have nothing to do with the ban itself wich seem to be justify, but more at how Riot handled the situation. Yes i had chat restricted and yes i got that 14 days ban before the perma, so you can say that i was fully aware of what was coming, but still we are humans, you can't change someone's personality just like that like by magic. I played this game since season 2 and spent a lot of money in it, so the fact that Riot can't even give second chances to see if the player can really reform or will stick at being toxic is really in my opinion unfair. I feel like i just lost time, and got my money taken away from me. Like i said, yes i can be toxic in game and get to words with people, but i never got racist, or wishing someones death or even threatening their lives, and yet they are people like that who are playing today, and i get ban for saying things like "The tower dive you did, just cost me my lane" yes it is toxic in a way, but is it worth a permaban... i don't know. I don't think i will ever get my account back, but i am going to work on that beheavior of mine just in case it happens.

You kind of had two second chances already, first with the chat restriction and then the 14 days ban. How many more chances would you have given if you were Riot ?

Second chances? You said yourself that you had chat restrictions and a 14 day ban. Thats more than 1 second chance.

While I get that change is difficult, I can't really agree that Riot mishandles this. You got several warnings about your behavior, and one big warning that it was your last chance. You could have started a smurf account to practice controlling your behavior on, or taken a break from League, or sought help with controlling your behaviors, or come here for advice, or one of any number of options.

Instead you continued to play on the account that was on its final warning, knowing full well that controlling this behavior is a difficult thing for you and that your account was on very thin ice. While I can appreciate that getting banned sucks, it feels you're pinning a bit more of this on Riot's handling than I think is appropriate.

so the fact that Riot can't even give second chances to see if the player can really reform or will stick at being toxic is really in my opinion unfair.

The second, third, and fourth chances come after warnings, sadly.

They actually did try a "prove you can reform" experiment called the Level 20 Challenge a few years ago. It was tested out with players hand-picked for their commitment to reforming their behavior, and still had over a 95% failure rate. Because of this, Riot feels that, while there are certainly a few permanently banned players for whom this incentive would work to trigger self-reform, the statistics are too heavily skewed towards such a system only serving as an incentive for toxic players to keep making account after account in an attempt to prove reform, ruining games for other players along the way.

You got many second chances. Every time you got a punishment that was not permanent, it was Riot telling you: "Behave! NOW!"

You ignored the warnings, and continued to be toxic, it should be no surprise that you get permabanned. And rightfully so. Make a new account and prove that you can reform , or don't invest money and/or time in a game which you know you will get banned from because "That's just who you are and you can't change".

riot gave you four chances tho

swordofsun3/20/2018, 4:12:17 PM1 votes

Technically Riot gave you four chances.

1 - initially set up account 2 - 10 game chat restriction 3 - 25 game chat restriction 4- 14 day ban

If you can't sort things out after four chances that's on you. Riot is a business and it's not in their interest to keep people around who aren't fixing their behavior.

Better luck on your next account.

Make a new account and start over with a different mindset. If you ever think about being toxic remember what happened to your other account. If Riot unbanned permabanned accounts, the player wouldn't reform their behavior. They'd just think "oh i got away with it yay" and keep on being toxic.

They should definitely give a chance. Multiple at that. Unless no rp was bought on the account.

Yes CHANCES SHOULD BE WRITTEN IN THE GAME GUIDE. UNLESS RP WAS NOT BOUGHT ON THE ACCOUNT.

Sorry bro it’s over. Gotta start over. Perma bans don’t get reversed. Nothing you do can undo the ban. Any attempt to undo the ban is a waste of your time. Just gotta try to move on. If not you’re only hurting yourself
