Is "Trump" considered racist/hate speech and is it reportable?

I realize that not all trump supporters are racist, but after the thousands of hate crimes committed in his name recently, it's starting to feel like insert derogatory term for... any race... /women

I know riot has a stance on negative/passive aggressive/griefing, but i'm not entirely sure if this is a subject that is "don't discuss it in the game because of how much it triggers people" kind of thing.

I am curious on riot's stance on this topic, because it REALLY feels like racism/sexism. and i've never seen someone bring up this topic where someone doesn't either bite their tongue and say nothing, or just triggers people and incites a rage inducing conversation in chat.

Either way, the subject seems to end with an overall negative experience for the players.

Saying I love Trump is not reportable.

Saying "your one of those deplorable Trump supporters." is a reportable offense as you are attacking the person.

Hell I could say "well aren't you a precious little snowflake" and it could be offensive.

Or "quit acting like a flower". All of these could be offensive.

Hell saying "Quit acting like Hillary" could be offensive.......

BTW the hate crimes are very few and far between. MSM is blowing it way out of proportion and more then half have been made up/Debunked.

While there are absolutely hate crimes being committed. Most are isolated cases. Unlike the the assaults on Trump supports in EVERY MAJOR CITY.

If you drive through Portland Oregon with a Trump sticker on your car. The protesters are Damaging the care and even pulling people from their automobiles and assaulting them. Just because they voted for trump. Last I knew Assaulting someone for a OPINION was a Hate crime as it infringes on a persons rights. Not all hate crimes are Racial.

While i agree with you on some of these things, this post was geared towards the negativity around it and and riot's stance on it.

If you go down to Harlem and yell derogatory term for black person, you will likely be assaulted because it offends people

if you go to Portland and yell Trump, you will likely be assaulted because it offends people

the question was geared towards riot's stance on something that is offensive to some people and the discussion that tends to follow has a habit of leading to a negative experience for a lot of players involved. This was not trying to take a political stance, it was something i noticed was causing a great deal of negativity/anger, hence why the title is in the form of a question.

well, the issue is that names like "Hitler" are censored in chat because they are offensive. and it is just a persons name.

as stated above, it wasn't trump himself, it was the people committing hate crimes in his name that tends to trigger a lot of people.

just as the confederate flag wasn't always a symbol of racism, but it is now to a lot of people because, mainly neo-nazis, have used it as a racist symbol, just like with trump.

But saying hitler in an educational way is different from saying it offensively. Teachers teaching the subject have authorization to speak about the topic in the classroom whereas im pretty sure no one has that authorization in a league game.

I was just commenting on what he said. In no way is hitler's name himself offensive, though it could be depending on person and context, if used in a matter, such as justifying hitler, then it is offensive.

No the name Hitler is not Offensive. Justifying Hitler's Actions is Offensive not the name..... And that is my point at no time is the NAME offensive(or at least shouldn't be) The actions the person does/justifies/supports is what is offensive..............

Hitler the person is Offensive not the name. And people need to understand the difference.

Yes I agree the name is not offensive. What I should have written was: If used in a matter, such as justifying Hitler (the person), then it is offensive. But many people make the name Hitler synonymous to the person because of his notoriety and his fame. I'm not saying I do, but if you think of the name Hitler, you usually think of the person Hitler.

Despite mounting evidence to the contrary, I really would like to think Riot is not feminist. They understand that "T R I G G E R E D" is not an argument. They will fall-back on logic and reason like any intelligent person would.
