Permanent Ban for one game?

Hello! So I was just permanently banned on my account? I haven't had any sort of restrictions for well over a year now, the last one being a chat restriction. I was just permanently banned yesterday for what seemed like an unjust reason. I was somewhat toxic to another player after I started argueing with them. The person was playing jax toplane was doing everything possible to tilt the whole team. He trolled, intentionally fed and flamed our whole team, and everyone was against him. He even said he was going to report all of us, which you can see I reply to in my log. I made the mistake of not ignoring him like the rest of the team and instead decided to type to him, which again was a large mistake. I didn't use any racist or homophobic terms though, and I didn't type that much to him. Everyone on my team as well said they were going to report him, so I don't see how I am the one to be permanently banned in this situation lol. I'd even be fine with being permanently restricted from typing for this. But I don't feel like permanently banning was fair. File a ticket with support.

Tell them how you feel you were unjustly treated in a game by a player whom you believe has a history of toxicity in League of Legends.

Tell them that it was this player who appeared to have triggered your ban.

Ask them to give you a list of your most recent behavioral infractions as well as the last time your account was in "Good" behavioral standing. Ask them also to investigate the past games of the player you feel targeted you.

There is activity going on that some users call "Bait Banning". The premise of the situation is that they are using throw-away accounts to antagonize users into an argument where they say key phrases or behave in a specific manner that could potentially trigger an instant ban (with an unknown success rate).

Point out that you feel it is not fair what happened in that game and that you are confident that this player was simply trying to take out anyone they could with them (you don't know who else was reported and possibly punished by/due to that player).

The next thing you do is ask why the punishment was so severe. You are supposed to progress to a 14-day suspension before being banned in normal cases, and as we can see from your chat logs, that should have been what happened.

Of course, all of this is valid assuming you are 100% sincere in your post, so don't try to 1-up the system if that isn't the case.

I've been playing this game for many years now and I must say Riot has definitely gone too far with their punishment system. I started noting this changes about pre season 7 where the banning system started to feel more aggressive and I was right. A while back you would go through a process to get permabanned and it would usually consist of a warning, then a chat restriction, then 14 day, then 28 day ban for extreme toxicity, THEN finally a permaban(Used to be like this back in season 4). Now there have been many cases where people go instantly from CLEAN to 14 DAY or even as far as a permaban. They've definitely implemented a more aggressive system and while they are punishing more of those extremely toxic and unhealthy players for the community. A few people have been and keep getting unfairly treated by this system. I know people who have gotten unfair bans like this one and even one of my smurfs got a 14 right off the bat for saying a singular offensive phrase. The lesson here is though that Riot doesn't seem to care and the best course of action is just to jump into a game and /mute all and make sure you don't afk/int/buy 6 tears and then they will not be able to ban you at all. Sadly it has gotten to this point since part of the community consists of a younger generation filled with sensitive minds that are easily offended. Anyway I wish you luck with recovering your account.

In Riots perfect world, you're toxic. In my eyes it looks like you're just tilted. I don't think you're toxic but the system is automated and you said some trigger words. You're probably not gonna get that lifted. Sorry dude.

Hmmm, if this is the entire log, then I would definitely recommend submitting a ticket to Player Support. This isn't a set of logs that would escalate someone directly to a permanent suspension if they hadn't progressed through a 14 day suspension first, unless you've edited out a few choice phrases. (Sorry to sound slightly suspicious, but well, it happens here on the boards frequently.) Just submit a ticket to Support, and they will be able to help you straighten it out.
