20 Minute Queue

Dear any Riot Employees,

Hi, yesterday I was having internet issues in one game. During the game, I was reaching a ping of 150 ms (was typically around 140), which is a lot for me, considering I'm used to 24. I also got frequently disconnected from that one game. On a side note, I used to have connection issues a lot more frequently, but it has been months since those occasions. Now my issue is this: after that one game, I was given a lower priority queue for 20 minutes. I understand that if I negatively affect the game of others, I should be punished, however, I do not believe the punishment should have been so harsh, considering it was only one game and I was trying as hard as I could to help my teammates. Also, I realize that my punishment is as severe as it is due to past issue with my connection and the reports I got then, but I figured that those were so old that any new issues wouldn't gain me a 20 minute queue on the first game. Sorry if I sound frustrated, but you have to admit, that is pretty ridiculous. Now, I'm not just here to complain; I desperately want a better solution to the issue. I would appreciate it a lot if it was at least looked into for accounts that have not had issues for 1 or more months (even though I haven't had issues since July). I feel as though fairly veteran players who may have had issues in the past are heavily discouraged to play (or play well) when they are treated in such a manner. Those are just my personal thoughts on the situation. As for my own punishment, I'm sure the 5 game queue will be gone by the time this is read, so I guess that doesn't matter as much to me. I just want a solution for everyone like me, that way people have a better time playing the game.
