What should I do?

I have been playing this game and I think it is interesting, but I can't stand the community any longer. I have gotten into games that no matter what I do I get blamed for everything and then ganged up on and constantly insulted over a game I try muting people but that only does so much, I also report people but I'm starting to lose faith in that too. I just want some advice for dealing with it. Should I just keep trying to mute people that start blaming me or insulting me or should I just leave MOBAs as a whole?

Every single game that that requires you to play with strangers in a group has some varying level of a shitty community, League, Dota, WoW, Overwatch, pretty much any multiplayer game. You either have to learn how to deal with it or switch to single player games, or just auto mute everyone before anyone even talks. I know it's a shitty situation but no matter how severe punishments are and how frequent they are there are still going to be people who flame you

I have had a better experience with Overwatch than any MOBA tbh. I'm sorry if I made this sound like a rant or something but this has been bothering me for while and just wanted some advice. I might consider your idea but would muting people before anyone talks be bad?

I don't know if you do competitive games in overwatch but for me it's honestly worse than anything I've seen in league for a long time. regular game modes are fine though. Muting everyone isn't favorable since it limits communication, but a huge majority of games at least in bronze, silver, and gold don't require anything more than pings so you probably won't even notice any significant disadvantage by not seeing the chat

That's probably it, I never really thought about going to competitive. I'll still think about this, you could be right that online gaming isn't for me though
