A while ago I was put to Honor level 0 and I feel literally 0 motivation to "reform".

So about a month ago I was given a 25 game chat restriction and got placed in Honor 0 due to me reacting aggressively to people flaming, and was just negative. I personally didn't agree with why it happened to me but I still tried to turn it around and to work according to the system and "reform" to not be negative in games. Maybe I shouldn't react back and just mute them, maybe I should spread positivity in my matches so the possibility of people flaming may be less.

I have gotten a good number of honors and try my best to spread positivity in matches and as of right now I am still at checkpoint 0 of level 0. I think the most negative I have been since this has happened is literally saying a single message of "what the fuck Jax" when a Jax was splitpushing while 3 people were taking our nexus making us lose. That's the only thing and I don't think that could have slowed down my honor progress. Just about a week or two ago I actually unlocked my honor.

And as of yesterday or so I really have just kind of stopped being positive and just not typing alot and not refraining too much from saying something like "can you gank ffs" instead of "hey we need a gank here :)", because honestly the system is wack. With the rate it's going at I will never get my end of season ranked rewards for something that happened right before season end which is the whole reason I wanted to reform so I could still get my rewards. I'd rather just sit back and hopefully just play and hopefully have it back in 6 months. It's extremely tiresome to have no clarification on how far you are except for 3 checkpoints, and it takes way too long, and due to that there is honestly just zero motivation to move forward, which is completely going against the system.

I think making it easier to climb back to level 2 would not at all make people more toxic (unless you make it like 7 days to get it back of course), but actually motivate people to start being positive in their games again, instead of this insane months-long grind. It's just stupid.

tl;dr: chat restricted, wanted to reform to get my honor back for end of season rewards and maybe i was in the wrong, there is no motivation to do it due to lack of progress, riot should make it faster so toxic players would be more motivated to reform.

EDIT: Seems like people are misunderstanding something, I'm not saying I'm going to go back to being negative now, but I'm not going to try to be positive either.

TLDR; Was toxic, got my rewards stripped, give them back faster or rage.

It already is a couple to three weeks to get from honor 0 to honor 2 if you're behaving well. The fact it took you a couple weeks to even unlock your honor tells me that whether you believe so or not you're likely getting validly reported in games still.

well if you don't reform, you're going to get 2 week banned, so...

Server transfer to a low-skill region and grind out gold. You get reset to Honor 2 immediately on transfer.

Too bad D: I never get honors for being good, but here’s a lil trick, type a lot of random junk and always go bot lane, gank a lot, just try to be the most noticeable [slayer-jinx-wink]

As to your edit; that is ALL Riot asks for. You dont have to be positive... just dont be negative. Sounds like their system worked there.

Initiators need to be harshly punished. Usually those who respond are first penalized and the instigators often unlikely. The "legalism" between two wrongs don't make a right - but punish this guy first because he responded to an inappropriate person inappropriately isn't effective or good. All it truly does is destroy your actual playerbase of "good moral" persons who won't calmly be profaned by an inappropriate persons.

To all the people who say "mute the bad guy" it's not that simple. Those "bad guy's" often get teams (their friends or enemy team) to mass report you for bologna 99% of the time. They come into the match to troll and leave the match the same way. I've seen this destructive behavior annihilate the player base for a couple games already (an Ubisoft and Epic Games title (no, not fortnite))
