This person sabotaged the game in lobby, trolling by taking my mid even though i rightfully called it, in game was toxic and bm'ed the enemies by saying things like "ez kill" and "ez", then when we won the game he said "gg ez" and "ez". Throughout the game he was trying to convince the enemy team that he was in the right and that i was in the wrong, so i had to explain in all chat the things he did and why they were wrong and how he would get punished if he continued to do them. I wasnt going to report him if he had a change of heart and decided to play nice, but he didnt. I left mid after about 5 levels and went to top, then i asked diana if she wanted to switch out of bot because they werent doing so great there. I spoke the truth and even put it matter-of-factly, so that he would understand his mistakes and change from them.

Who wouldve thought the day would come where you can get banned for telling a toxic troll that they are in the wrong and would get punished for it. I guess theres no speaking to trolls, just let them do whatever they want, you cant reform them by speaking to them only by banning them. Good system there riot.

actually the calling for reports is technically punishable, as well as the negativity. You took the conflict from the lobby and kept talking about it through the game. Nobody wants to listen to people bicker about their roles for an entire game.

And no one wants to have to deal with someone in their lane intentionally trolling through the game, but I tried to change that by making him realize he was wrong, I guess I was wrong in thinking I should stand up for myself against trolls.

Ill take this piece of information into my further games on my other account and remember that I can duo mid or do as I please as long as I dont speak, that way riot wont have anything to punish me for since only toxic chat can get you banned. Thanks [slayer-jinx-catface]

In what world, or language, or any form of intelligent thinking does "id" mean "mid". You would have to be incredibly stupid to say that by him saying "id" he called the role, and its pretty sad to see people try to rationalize something like that.

No one "confirmed" he got it first, one other person said he did but thats not "confirmation", thats as good as absolutely nothing. Even in game the culprit said "i said mid but my computer is slow so it cut out the M". He fully acknowledged that he didnt call "mid" but instead "id".

I at least expected a somewhat coherent and intelligent and incompetent discussion, but you really brought that expectation waaaaaaaaaaaaayy down.

This thread, with you posting and responding, is getting out of hand. I tend not involve myself in the petty arguments. However, with you calling several posters "stupid" and even telling one that he is "autistic", it has forced me to join in.

Firstly, harassing people in the game whether you think they are in the wrong or not, IS NOT an excuse!

Second, your whole argument that "id" cannot be seen as a call for "mid" is invalid. Mid is a three letter word, in which the player attempted to type and in the right order. Seeing "id" is easily interpreted as him calling for "mid". Just as a player who types "ad" is clearly calling for "adc", a support could call "sup" for the role and not mean a greeting. An example of a failed attempt that would be valid for him not calling a role, would be, if he typed "asd" for mid. In my 5+ years of this game, I have seen all the above and several more.

Finally, you constantly contradict yourself in many ways. The first example is that other you said other players did not confirm the role for him. Then you state that someone tried to and because that person was not you, they were not allowed to confirm. FAIL! Then you state the player didn't acknowledge that he did not call mid after explaining he attempted to, and just left out a letter, but did not conform to your forced point of view. FAIL!

It is sad to see that you will not be improving your behavior neither here on the boards or in the game, by not following the rules in both areas. As you clearly say you are going to play on another account to troll and harass players. This will lead to another ban, and another discussion of your "unfair" ban. Just because you don't feel its fair that you would be able to get away with harassment and have no repercussions.

A damn shame.

This will be my only post and response, do not bother replying, as it will go unread and unnoticed. But, you seem to have your own point of view on things, so you will most likely respond to "have the last word" in a closed argument.

Which is like continuing to talk on the phone when the other person has already hung up!

I think you're too tense. In a non-offensive way, are you by any chance autistic? My brother has autism, and the world works in a less conforming way for him. It is or it is not, there is no grey area. When you're the person in the room going "Well technically you're wrong" and everyone else is looking at you with discontent, maybe you should adjust the way you talk to them. Calling people stupid does not really give you many options, because anyone that might have heard your side will be angered by your attitude.

If you knew that "id" probably meant "mid" you should be able to rationalize that it means what you're so adamantly refusing to accept. You didn't want a discussion with intelligent people. You wanted others to affirm your feelings of inferiority in knowing that you made a bad gameplay decision that cost you a lot of time. There can be two equally intelligent people in a room together that will have a rational argument, whose views directly oppose each other's. Intelligence is not measured with a ruler; it is not a finite, one-dimensional property. Intelligence isn't about being right; it's about learning when to be wrong for the sake of becoming right. You can, of course, refuse to accept the fact that you are not a person people will ever get along with. I have yet to meet a single person that would enjoy talking to you about something as trivial as "id" not technically being "mid" and as such you will probably remain a very lonely, unhappy individual until you learn to accept other people on equal grounds, regardless of your initial interpretation of their value. What you've essentially told everyone here is that you are more valuable than they are, that your opinions and experiences mean more than theirs and that they're trash. With that mentality you'll live an awfully depressing existence.

there are no lane assignments in blind pick.

Call order is common courtesy and not hard rules.

Therefore, what he is doing is not punishable.

Nope, i dont play adc.

There are 5 roles, 4 lanes. I consider "bot" the same thing as "adc".

I just dont consider "id" as an acceptable iteration of "mid". It has never been used as an abbreviation for "mid", and widely accepted as a misspelling by all almost every player ive encountered for 5+ years.

The only people who have tried to justify that are stupid, just as the player did in game who was banned for it, and you losers who are more toxic than me. I figured there would be level headed and rational people here but you guys are actually trying to say that "id" means "mid". Thats pretty low.

It doesn't matter what you consider. This was a blind pick game. That means there are no assigned roles. If he wanted to go mid, he had every right to go mid, even if you or the whole rest of the team wanted to go mid also. The onus is on you guys to communicate and find an amicable solution - not flame each other for going the same lame.

Your sentence structure is atrocious, so I see no reason as to why you are pointing out something as silly as a question mark at the beginning of a sentence. You are invalidating a claim before even reading it based on a grammatical or punctual mistake which was actually intended by the author to insinuate that your argument is beyond comprehension.

Oh, and I agree with everyone posting here. You were 100% in the wrong and being rather rude to the other guy. Oh, and for these "other accounts" you speak of, you most certainly can also get in trouble for int'ing and trolling. So don't think that you can't. Just so happens you were the troll here, not the other guy.
