Normal Matches/Bad players

Why is the fact that you're playing a normal game an acceptable excuse to be unequivocally terrible at this game in this community? It seems to be the constant excuse for people....I don't get it.

I have never seen someone "it's a normal game and that's why I'm bad". I've seen bad players in normal, but that's because my ELO is mid bronze-upper bronze.

Keep in mind that theoretically speaking you're just as bad as these players you're saying are "unequivocally terrible". I found it helps if you focus more on yourself, and less on others. Win a lot more that way.

Not to mention they could very well be playing a position they aren't familiar or efficient with.

It's a team game, but your team are individuals. You have to all work together. The concept of a team is 5 people with a common goal. There is no team captain - there is no coach - there is no boss. You should focus on what you can do to help your team win - not what you want others to do. You can't force anyone else to do anything the way you want it done - they may be a part of your team but they are individuals as well.

When it's a team game and your contribution or lack there of directly effects the outcome of the game then it kind of helps to not be bad.

I'm terrible at this game, doesn't mean Riot will ban me from playing it. Just means I'm not even in any conversation to be placed on a pro team.

Nobody said anything about being a pro, so why that statement is in there is beyond me.

Then why would you complain about people being bad at this game? If you can't accept the fact that over 3 million players that play this game have varying levels of skill, experience, and capabilities of learning from their mistakes, then maybe it's time you took a break.

I feel like this has become a broken record that should have been melted down to be recycled as something else by now. Most people take their newfound champions into Normals to get experience playing that champion in a real 5v5 setting. There's no other way around it. Sure you could take it to a bots game, but that's not real experience playing against people of similar skill. There are so many reasons why someone could be having a bad game that I'm not going to list them.

Frankly, you should be focusing on your own skills rather than the 4 other people you're playing with.
