What's up with the tribunal?

The tribunal has been down for matienance for 2+ years now if I am not mistaken, how long does it take to fix it/make it work again? Where do all the reports go? I came back to this game after some time off and the community just makes me want to deinstall it for good. The game is good, that's why I keep coming back, but the people in it are unbearable. And then after a game of such uncivilized behaviour, I go to the tribunal to see the old same message. Really?

It's gone forever.

The report system is largely automated, with occasional manual review by Riot staff. There are no more peer judgments.

Tribunal had a lot of issues, and if you read up on why they shut it down, I think you'll see that it was overall for the best. League still has a large trolling population, but they ARE punished as much as possible.

the real reason they got rid of it, theyre lazy. they put up an automated system just because they wanted to eliminate as much human involvement as possible, and their ban system isnt geared towards reform at all, its designed to get you to make a new account and re purchase anything that they stole from you with your permaban

riot. you can say you're not all you want. but i challenge you to prove it

So it's come to this that I have uninstalled the game once again. It takes a lot of playtime to rise up through the ranks and I just can't deal with all the toxicity in lower tiers (I have no idea what it's like in higher). I think that the majority of LoL players are significantly underaged and every time I lose my temper I feel bad for entering an argument with what is probably a 13 year old. The more time I spend immersed in this community the more unhinged I become myself.

Anyway, until Riot SERIOUSLY deals with this insane toxicity, this game won't see me again.

Aussming Riot's incompetence, maybe 5 to 10 years. Or the idea was just scrapped and threw in the trash can without any notice, as usual

"deinstall" LOL

It would be a lot of work to get it working ideally, and that doesn't seem to be Riot's style. While a functioning tribunal beats Riot's easily manipulatable automated system any day of the week, I doubt we'll ever see it come to the game.

What would be really encouraging is if we got some feedback on all the people we report, for example how they got punished for it. I just came from a game that was extremely toxic and it makes me so frustrated to see people feed so much and then call out on others for their mistakes, abusing them verbally and spamming the chat with nonsense.

What I'm trying to say, the game is great but it is unplayable for more than 3 days for me because the toxicity just gets to me. I can't enjoy it. So it's a shame really that I get this feeling that few decent players there are are left to themselves in the sea of toxic waste.

It's coming back in "May" -Riot 2015

note that they never confirmed which May, it could be 2088 for all I know
