Player conduct and appropriate punishment

Hey everyone,

just played a solo q ranked game in which bot lane adc flamed his or her support and then began to ran it down mid. when asked why and then reminded that those actions are report able the adc concluded that because the account has no prior offences or actions supported by riot they will not have any serious repercussions against them and continued to run it down mid and flame the entire team . Even if that is true i believe certain actions and offences should have appropriate punishment Now i may be biased but i feel that punishments should also be a case by case handout. Just being a all around toxic individual to play with and knowing the worst they might get is a chat ban and maybe a day ban wont stop this person from committing the same offences again or at least in his or her eyes they may view it as "a slap on the wrist" . Being on his or her team knowing that we were gonna lose and knowing our reports will prob have no effect on this person reassured us that this problem with the league of legends community is never gonna go away at least not the way riot is currently handling it. Riot believes that their system is perfect and as it may improve some summoners, which is a small demographic but it is evident that the punishments being handed out are not justifying to those players committing inappropriate actions regularly. I might just be salty which is fine but i dont think that the 35 percent of players who reform is a statistic that i would be proud of.

Its not even a passing grade. summoner 30 item 3362

Running it down mid and feeding is able to bypass the system sometimes, considering that unless you're 0/12/1, chances are, you won't get even banned. Being generally toxic, can absolutely get someone banned. But in situations like feeding or running down mid, it depends, and it's sort of odd. (3/14, for example, might not be considered a bannable offence, maybe just a bad game) I've seen alot of people get away with it, despite me reporting them.
