Need a Rioter. My account has been banned.

My account has been permanently banned due to negative behavior. I allowed my younger brother to play on the account. I understand I am responsible for the activity on the account, however I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on the account and need to speak to someone about having it unlocked in whatever possible way there is to do so.

Pretty sure account sharing is a bannable offense, too.

You can submit a support ticket if you want but I don't see them unbanning you. Your account is your responsibility and sharing it with your brother is a perma ban offense anyway, for this exact reason.

Allowing someone else to play on your account is a clear violation of the terms you agreed to when you made the account and after every patch since.

Here's a crappy comparison for you:

You buy a gun and give it to your brother. He randomly starts shooting things. When the police comes by, they don't care you're not the one who used the gun, it was your responsibility to keep it safe and locked up, therefore it's your price to pay for its wrongful use.

Try there, although as Stormy said, there's little chance it will be undone. Even if it's true, it is still account sharing. This is the exact reason that rule was put into place. And you don't just get permanently banned on first offense either, so this must have been an on-going thing.

Money spent on the game doesn't have anything to do with issues like this.

ACCOUNT SHARING? you need more ban.

and being negative is entirely not acceptable...if you won't do it in public...don't attempt it here.

I don't think Riot cares how much you've spent on the account. By their thinking, the money that's been put at risk by the accounts affected by the behavior in question more than outweighs the money you've put into that account.

I also don't think the rest of your argument has ever been successful in this kind of situation. The only time I've seen anyone have success with the "somebody else did it" argument was when their account had been hacked - because they didn't create the situation.

At the end of the day, the responsibility for all this boils down to your decisions. Yes, it's a crappy situation, and I do sympathize, but that makes it no less your responsibility. As such, the consequences are yours to deal with as well.

"I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on the account" Why do you always say that as a defense?

  1. jsut deal with it, it will end after the ban is over (prob 2 weeks)
  2. dont share acounts*[slayer-pantheon-rainbows]*

How do you know it got banned, my brother tried getting on this morning and for some reason his password did not work. Did you have the same issue, or did you get a message telling you it got banned. I realized quite a few people are having the same issue, or either riot is cracking down or it is a temporary bug issue.

Don't let your younger brother have your passwords, why would you let your younger brother have your passwords.

It's highly unlikely they won't. Your account had negative behavior on it, and you can't prove it was your brother. You also were sharing accounts, which is also a bannable offense. So even if it wasn't the reason you got banned, your account will stay that way.
