My account has been permanently banned due to negative behavior. I allowed my younger brother to play on the account. I understand I am responsible for the activity on the account, however I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on the account and need to speak to someone about having it unlocked in whatever possible way there is to do so.

Try there, although as Stormy said, there's little chance it will be undone. Even if it's true, it is still account sharing. This is the exact reason that rule was put into place. And you don't just get permanently banned on first offense either, so this must have been an on-going thing.
Money spent on the game doesn't have anything to do with issues like this.

You buy a gun and give it to your brother. He randomly starts shooting things. When the police comes by, they don't care you're not the one who used the gun, it was your responsibility to keep it safe and locked up, therefore it's your price to pay for its wrongful use.

But I have years in this game. On that account. I have made tons of friends and had a lot of great times on that account. I cant just let it go without trying. And yeah I can make another but I just have so much time and money put into it its a waste.

Lets not pretend here, I only play with my friends because this game is awful about how people treat each other when a teammate is losing a lane. So the consequences are not on equal footing.

Jubbinaut2 votesI don't think Riot cares how much you've spent on the account. By their thinking, the money that's been put at risk by the accounts affected by the behavior in question more than outweighs the money you've put into that account.
I also don't think the rest of your argument has ever been successful in this kind of situation. The only time I've seen anyone have success with the "somebody else did it" argument was when their account had been hacked - because they didn't create the situation.
At the end of the day, the responsibility for all this boils down to your decisions. Yes, it's a crappy situation, and I do sympathize, but that makes it no less your responsibility. As such, the consequences are yours to deal with as well.

Your best bet is - as others have pointed out - a Support ticket. I'd advise you to be polite and honest, as that tends to get the best results from customer service people. Good luck!

Drive By Max1 votesIt's highly unlikely they won't. Your account had negative behavior on it, and you can't prove it was your brother. You also were sharing accounts, which is also a bannable offense. So even if it wasn't the reason you got banned, your account will stay that way.

You have already been banned 7-14 days before and probably had chat restrictions, like hell you wouldn't notice that and tell your ''brother'' to stop being toxic.
You're lying, and you deserve that ban.

You let him use your account. That's your fault. Not his. Also, the way it sounds, you rarely use your account, so what's the money you spent on it to you? You rarely use it.
Instead of giving him your account, give him his own.

Serevas1 votesActually if the things said are vile enough you can get instantly perma-banned, but that usually requires a cocktail of racial slurs, encouraging of suicide, and excessively berating people all game long. That also has to be paired with a full report from all 9 other people in the lobby. If you get 9x reported ever in a lobby, you're getting a punishment of some form on the spot.
The fact does still remain however that even if it was his brother he was still account sharing, which is also worthy of bans, and no dollar amount spent on an account grants any form of leeway for lifting permabans.

Or I'm not lying, in which case they will continue to make money off of me along with no further games being ruined. It doesn't seem complicated to me.

Did you have the same issue, or did you get a message telling you it got banned. I realized quite a few people are having the same issue, or either riot is cracking down or it is a temporary bug issue.
